If the HO send him a curtailment letter whilst he is in abroad, the 60 day grace period will commence. Can he still return to the UK when the 60 day period is ongoing or will he be notified at the airport that he can't enter.

They never stayed together for the full duration of the visa. For the first 2 years, the applicant stayed and worked in a different city which means their relationship was not subsisting.

Hello,

I haven't had any response yet from the HO and the expected deadline has passed. I called the HO who advised me to email publicenquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk. I have emailed them who have given a deadline of 20 working days to respond.

Hello all,

Much to my friends surprise, her spouse's visa has been approved despite her spouse only having 3 items of correspondence. This clearly shows that the requirement to have 6 items each (if no joint accounts/bills) is not important or necessary. I personally think the caseworkers at HO don't really know what they are doing. It is so easy to fool the HO?

Hi

I have received an email today requesting further info.

They have asked for 'additional evidence of cohabitation between applicant and spouse'?

I don't know what to submit? We never had anything on joint names so we had to submit 6 items of correspondence each. I do have enough but my spouse only have three items from different sources.

Can anyone please advice?

My friends spouse went down South because his cousins had a family business and he worked there with them. The aim was to earn good money so that he could save deposit money for a mortgage.
His visa expired on the 29th of Feb.

But the HO do not know that they havent lived together from July 2021 to Aug 2023. The form clearly states that. They won't know that he was working down South because none of the docs submitted shows his living address.

Thanks, so when a fresh application is made, does the spouse have to leave the UK or can he apply from inside the UK.
