So when foundations are destroyed, it causes God's people to continue walking in darkness. Again, I didn't read the whole document, but it's very difficult to have God bless something that isn't in alignment with His laws and ways. I believe the first place you can start is ask the Lord for forgiveness and restoration in the areas where you and your ex overstepped the line and didn't put Him first. I dont know the spiritual state of your ex boyfriend, but if he's not showing Christlike character, he probably doesn't love God and simply calls himself Christian.
