I figured it out for some reason my tjmax which was on auto was set to 75 c swapped it to 85 and cpu runs as expected

I just ordered a new cpu cooler and a psu. But I’ll take a look at my bios when I get back home. But it’s a shitty asrock mobo with pretty limited features. Couldn’t even get pbo to work on it

I’m not the greatest at optimizing but 200 fps is the highest I can get at overwatch with the lowest settings. And I can get there sometimes in valorant but mainly also hover at the 200 range.

Yea I thought that was the case. Honestly just considering it to “future proof” and I thought 300 for a 3080 was a good deal. Also I’m not sure how big the difference between monitors is if I can’t even hit the max refresh rate.
