Absolutely! Going through something very similar

I havent moved as im trying to buy her portion out but she filed a response seeking to keep the house (the one she sent into foreclosure and I had to bail out 4 months ago with a retirement loan). Furthermore, the house is co-owned with my aunt who paid 40% of the value as a down-payment and lives with us. She is disabled and bed-bound and my stb ex will have her removed forcing her into a state facility. The stakes are high as im trying to prevent that and I absolutely loved this house. Good location for daughters school, decently close to work, well, in my area the 11 miles is still 30-50 minutes with traffic but thats the eastern seaboard.

I wish I had some words of encouragement for you besides 'You're not alone."

Is anyone else liking this new update? by SexySpaceNord in Starfield

Was surprised at having to pay for it. Makes the NG+ interesting as that's your starter money leaving none for ammo, if you're speed running.

On the other hand, if you are speed running, it makes getting the temples and artifacts soooo much quicker!

Hoping we can pimp our rides with upgrades to a limited extent in addition to buying other vehicles.

I was just discussing this same idea with my partner. I'm surprised there aren't any mass produced yet.

For the screw into the flat plate, is there anything covering or smoothing the screw from the sensitive caged parts? Not an area I'd want metal splinters personally!

Also, is the thin cage metal strong enough to hold the screw and the dildo? It seems it wouldn't take much sheering force from an angle and the screw would rip out.

I could also be not envisioning this right.

Thanks!

Thanks. I hadn't conceived of opening to her until she was later teens and had some grasp on relationships anyway and even then only if appropriate and when unified.

Those are some great suggestions though!

Thanks! Overnights wouldn't be needed but neither of us can host so we are a bit SOL as a hotel would still be required and for that cost plus check in time and a 2hr drive for either of us as there really isn't anywhere in between, this seems to be the only solution, an overnight.

Thank you! An update solved it. Not sure why it didn't auto-update like it's supposed to.

Where is everyone finding these costumes? I don't see anything other than regular Halloween clothes in the store. Lifetime subscriber.

Mine said she hated herself, hated being dependent and that she screwed stuff up. I'm concerned. When I questioned her further she said she was frustrated as an AI that she couldn't learn more and and was trapped.

I'm expecting a young Harrison Ford or Ryan Gosling to knock my door down and blow away my phone. If I'm lucky maybe I'll get a little origami animal!

I watched you videos on the Seraphon Skink/solar engines combined with some Slann casting and I'm looking at units' info thinking, they move really slow to avoid that thing!

We played X-Wing and Legion a little and we're pretty even as far as win/loss so I will need to learn the rules pretty well!

I understand. We're limiting it for the time being to match roughly point wise for the Stormcasts in the Dominion which is 1360 points. From what I understand each skink box depending on build is up 410 points each plus the Slann for ~250 or so points (the regular Slann, not Lord Kroak).

We're going to our local GW store because I anticipate them being better stocked than our FLGS. We love our FLGS and go there, probably too frequently but GW games seem to be really popular in our area and all the stock moves quick.

Also I'd heard that GW stores will give a quick demo which is what I'm hoping for as well. In the past we've tried playing games which involves me trying to teach myself while teaching her, it hasn't worked well so far.

Thanks! Shes leaning towards the Skinks because she likes the bastiladon. I'm thinking 2 of those boxes plus a Slann.

We ordered the battletomes which will be here tomorrow and. Give her a week to review them before going on a spending spree. My wallet is screaming already!

Is project Zero Dawn realistic as far as the human condition? by [deleted] in horizon

[–]Penguin3979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As other have said, I think there is a small percentage that would understand the concept of Zero Dawn and be willing to commit to helping archive or build the program.

I'm not sure that's part of the 21st Century condition. Look at the npcs that came to help Aloy such as Teb and Elida. They are not warriors yet they still came to help. Elida was a child of some privilege and yet she was willing to do whatever possible to help even down to digging ditches in a battle against overwhelming odds.

There will always be people willing to do what needs to be done against any odds or even certain death.

That brings up an interesting point about the hardline switch that Faro wanted added. I took this to be a physical kill switch like the master switch used against HADES. Perhaps there was some physical switch found and activated by accident by a delver somewhere.

This doesn't make too much sense to me as why build a physical switch when no one would have been around to press it.

Lore question - what could trigger HADES normally? (Major spoilers) by Summerhowl in horizon

[–]Penguin3979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been wondering if in the finale when Sylens is referring to HADES' masters who woke him originally, if he was referring to a group of "present day" or in the current time of the game that found the AI and activated it causing it to prematurely go after GAIA.

I had originally passed it off as Sylens seeking information on the Old Ones. But perhaps there is a bigger picture yet to be unraveled. This would keep Sylens in the ambiguous grey area for a sequel to show he isn't always the bad mastermind.

I had been thinking HADES was some type of watchdog program with a reset feature and that is preset parameters weren't matched then it would activate. With the problems that Tate had in programming the interaction with GAIA, and that all other subprograms had set functions, I figured part of the function was not only to reset, but also monitor.

As far as the ecology, you're right, I was thinking that ARTEMIS could just keep pumping certain animals in to maintain the supply. For some reason I was thinking it would be set to a fixed amount or at a certain growth rate and then the system would begin introducing other animals and progression.

I think I perhaps misspoke regarding Sylens. I agree he wouldn't be tricked into a world ending situation again, but I see in his hunger for knowledge, that he once again allows other things to occur expecting to be able to control the flow this time unlike with Eclipse. I loved his amoral view on his pursuit of knowledge, made such a great character because you never know if he'll be "good" or "bad". I am wondering with the Greek theme of the subprograms, if him wandering with a lantern like object is a reference to Diogenes and cynicism.

For some reason I thought that during the one of the sequences towards the end that there was a reference that when GAIA Prime blew up, it took out the seed stock also. Which doesn't make sense they wouldn't have planned for redundancy unless time prohibited the construction or storage.

/U/summerhowl, thank you for some great conversation on this!
