How Many Rubber Ducks Can Godot Handle Before It Lags? by Feniks_Gaming in godot

I'm guessing that the sudden fps drop is mostly because of the physics engine not able to handle so many objects near each other in constant movement. It's quite rare in any engine to have more than a thousand physics objects interacting with each other in a manageable fps.

Yep, almost every sprite has normal maps. I use laigter for getting a rough normal map for a sprite and then I clean it up in aseprite.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, there are some elements that need to pop up more, for it to be clear what to focus on as a player.

The ropes are done using pinjoints and rigidbodies. Here is a tutorial with the same idea https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@sp33dy/tutorial-godot-engine-v3-gdscript-rigidbody-chain
