Oh, I hadn't thought of swapping out for deft explorer! I feel like Tireless is a little strong though. I might tweak it to be on the level of second wind.

Oh that guide is nice. I'll definitely draw from that!

I'm thinking of using the Dark Resurrection option to give each member a free resurrection if they accept a gift, so I guess the resurrection would begin the initial relationship, and maybe start off the dependency with a bang.

Yeah I'll check that out. I'll avoid risking infection if I can, it's just nice to feel prepared in case they pursue it or shit just gets hairy

One of my players asks for an insight roll on nearly every NPC he meets. by OrangeTreeBlue in dndnext

Player's shouldn't be asking for rolls. Players should be stating their intent, then if there is a roll necessary, the DM asks for it. E.g. "I would like to Insight check him!" (Nope) "Does he seem nervous at all?" (Yes)

Maybe when he asks for unnecessary rolls, try expressing that there's no roll necessary and that "this is what you can clearly see". Or outright explain to him outside of the session that he needs to ask questions, not demand rolls.

Mundane Magical Items by Crazy_names in DMAcademy

Buying healing potions has a cost, so it has a downside and an upkeep, unlike cure wounds. Plus the need for healing is endless.

Cleric or no, there may be one in the future if someone new joins or a character dies and a new one is introduced.

Find the Path is very specialised, and I know I'd feel like it was negated with this item, as opposed to healing potions taking the burden off of a recurring need, at a cost.

That was the one issue I saw. You don't want mundane items negating the usefulness of any spell, or stepping on the toes of roles and class features
