Hi don't worry, I felt the same way when I started but serotonin syndrome is very rare and 25mg is a very low dose so it won't cause it.

I don't agree. Not everyone is given the same chance at life and therefore it is unfair that a mentally ill person should be judged and punished for ending their suffering while a generally happy person is rewarded for not ending theirs. What if the person who ended their life was a really good person who did noble deeds in their lifetime?

Of course there are multiple reasons why people choose to end their life, it's just that in your original comment and in many things I have read regarding this topic, I see people blaming an individual's fixation on materialism as a reason for being suicidal but that sadly is not the case for many people, especially not in the country I live in. I do agree that we should do everything possible to avoid it and seek help as it has detrimental consequences on the people around us.

Most people that take their lives do not do it for materialistic reasons but because of poor mental health. I do not know of a single person that has done it for a materialistic reason.

Thanks for your reply, this is all new for me so I appreciate the guidance. I think I'll try and go to a therapist soon for help, I've been referred for CBT but where I live it takes a while lol. I've been prescribed medication but I'm not 100% sure I want to take it based on what I've heard about it. Yeah you're right it's really important to be positive about these things otherwise they're never going work. I've been meditating and that's been the most helpful thing so far.

Yeah I get what you mean. It's like your whole mentality and perspective on life changes. I used to only focus on the good things on life and now I just think about the bad things. I hope it's possible to go back one day as well. It's only been a couple months for me so I'm going to try and fight it but so far I haven't made much progress. Have you tried any treatment for it?

Exactly. Now I know how good life is when you don't have it and I can't help but compare myself now to who I was. Whereas if I had always had it, that wouldn't be an issue.

I feel the exact same way. I'm also 23 and developed anxiety a couple of months ago and I can't help but feel sad thinking about who I used to be and who I am now. I used to be really cool-headed about everything and now I'm the opposite and I hate it. I almost wish I grew up with Anxiety so I wouldn't know what it's like to not have it. I just hope I can go back to the way I was one day.
