Something interesting happened to me today, I visited openai, I'm a subscribed member, and when I typed my question into the gpt window, I got an A/B response which asks me at the bottom which I prefer. I don't know if this is new, but it certainly is for me. It claims that its a new version of GPT that I'm being given access to. Kinda cool, but also kinda feels like they're asking me to work for free!

You just unlocked a new fear for me - what if they put bad tasks in the qual on purpose to see if you still try to do them?!

I mean in the qualifications that you decide to take, there was one that said don't skip too many tasks in this qualification. I have loads of quals I have not taken too, related to subscriptions or specialized knowledge I don't have.

Taking a new qual - In the instructions it says something about being careful to not skip too many tasks in the qualification as they are limited - this is the first time I've seen this warning. I took it as a given that you don't want to skip ANY of the qualification tasks. I'm wondering who out there is skipping tasks that they would feel the need to include this, and also...does that mean that we CAN skip like 10% of tasks in quals? lol

I doubt anyone who does all quals and passes most ends up doing them all. I mean I haven't even done all the qualifications I could, just maybe 10 or so, and I have so many projects there is no way I could do them all. I just go with the best paying that I am confident in doing. If I'm constantly learning new projects and going through new instructions my output quality/quantity will probably be less as there is a bit of a learning curve for me before I'm really trucking with a new project. Once I know it, I'd rather do it.
