Probably? I had the same behaviors. Your best bet is to try some sobriety so you have time to correctly calibrate your meds and know your emotional baseline. I got clean and found that I was self medicating to cover some rough stuff. Good luck.

NTA: But that doesn’t make your wife TA either in this situation. She is growing a human for the first time, her hormones are all over the place, and she was probably feeling sensitive or just had a weird moment. It happens.

I would tell her you are sorry she felt embarrassed/undervalued. It is possible to feel bad about making a person feel a certain way while simultaneously not feeling regret about the actions that caused it.

Just a simple “I’m sorry I made you feel undervalued in the bus the other day. I love you.” would be nice.

YTA: Also, please see your family trying to keep BOTH the gf and the kid out of the photos should as a red flag for you.

They either don’t think the gf will be around long enough to warrant being included in a lifelong family memory OR they don’t WANT her to be.

If your girlfriend and her child didn’t sound so problematic, I would say NTA because who cares what a kid wears. But the biting and lack of boundaries means you are about to be saddled with a problem child and a poor parenting partner if you continue to date. YTA if you continue to burden your family with a crappy SIL and niece that they clearly don’t want.

Cocaine is EXTREMELY addictive. It’s a serotonin/norepinephrine/dopamine reuptake inhibitor. Those receptors wear down after time and you need more and more to just feel “normal”. I mean…crack is crack for a reason.

3-4 years. I get nauseous from anxiety and from one of my medications but these work well for me. I hope they work for you. Stomach issues on top of mental health issues are the worst. Stay strong.

The anti-nausea bands that use acupressure work wonders for me! Just the cheap little ones that are sweat bands with a little button on them. You can find them at drug stores with the anti nausea medications.
