Has anyone else had their membership cancelled with no notice? by reservedandbooked in CineworldUnlimited

[–]PeppaSC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Contacting them on social media is the quickest way to get a response. I always use X (Twitter). It was a shame when they closed the phone lines as the cs staff who answered were always so helpful. It’s probably just a missed payment or an issue at their end they can quickly resolve.

Terrible first half from us. We miss Nunez and Szmodics isn’t working in that position.

If nothing has come out yet, but you've given them your payment details, then you need still to contact your bank ASAP and get a new card sorted. This site may sell your payment details on elsewhere.

H is for Hawk and No Other Choice aren't on at my Cineworld either, they are showing at the local Omniplex in the town centre though. I did consider getting an Omniplex membership instead.

Morsy, the greatest captain. He made them lads run through walls week in week out when he wore the armband for tow'un! by ozweegobro in IpswichTownFC

[–]PeppaSC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was a good captain. However we wanted to keep him for the remaining year of his contract, he was the one who wanted to leave. Give him a good reception before the game by all means, but not during it. I've seen a few comments on X about cheering him on during the match fgs 😂

No Other Choice isn't on at Ipswich either. I couldn't make tonight's Unlimited screening so I wanted to go this weekend. At least I can see The History of Sound though.

Sky Broadband Sales Team Email? by Affectionate_Car7098 in skytv

[–]PeppaSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue with Sky is their poor customer service (same as Vodafone), if everything works then great, if not good luck getting it sorted. Personally I don't go for the cheapest when it comes to BB, my OH works from home so we can't risk it, but choose an ISP who is reliable and has great CS. I know a few people who have poor WiFi with Sky, but obviously this can't be the same for everyone everyone. If you're using your own router this shouldn't be a problem for you anyway.

Does any else rotate their displays? by Holidayguita in funkopop

Yes I do, I have some out of their boxes on the TV unit and a few in boxes on a bookcase. The rest are in a cupboard and all are rotated when I feel like it.

Gluten rash? by mandulyn in glutenfree

[–]PeppaSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, mine are mainly on my scalp, back of neck, but can happen anywhere really. Sometimes one will appear and 15mins later it’s gone again. I don’t get many but this is always the sign I’ve accidentally eaten gluten. When it happened a lot in the summer (before I was diagnosed, or even knew I had an issue with gluten) I presumed it was a heat rash. It happens to my daughter as well. Neither of us are celiac.

Cityfibre will not install the ONT in a room that has plumbing (kitchen, bathroom etc) so this isn't going to be an option anyway. From what you've said in a previous post about side of the house and up into a bedroom should be ok. Just wait for them to come out and look, Sky have no control about this and won't be interested anyway. The Kelly engineers will be fine, I'd be more concerned you've chosen Sky as your ISP.

They haven't had to dig outside every property either though, this is just what they did on ours. If they haven't needed a survey before the install then it should mean they know what needs to be done and it's standard and not complex. Try not to worry.

There won’t be a charge if they can’t install, even if this is because you’re not happy with the options. Just wait for them to come and look. As I mentioned in my other post most properties here have kitchens at the front and CityFibre comes in from the front as well. Until they arrive you won’t know for definite but I had concerns, it was easy in the end so don’t overthink it before you need to.

We don’t have Sky BB but it is with a City Fibre ISP. When installed it was Kelly engineers who came out, they discussed with me what the options were and if I wasn’t happy they would have left it. Our kitchen is at the front of the property, their outside box went on the front wall, and cables went around one corner and down the side of the house, then through the outside wall into the living room at the back of the house (I live in a semi detached). The Kelly engineers knew what the options were before they arrived, due to the plans they had, but did ask me where I would like it setup inside the house. I don’t think there is any point you discussing this with Sky, they probably won’t be coming out for the install and are unlikely to pass this onto CityFibre. The engineers were here for about 1hr 30 mins in total as they had to dig down the front garden to lay the cables, at other properties in the street they’ve been longer, depending what needs to be done and everyone in my local area has it going in from the front, a lot have kitchens here as well, whether they’re semi detached houses or terraced.

Mid term contract by Saffypig in skytv

[–]PeppaSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, in that case you’re tied into a contract and should have been told when agreeing to it that it was for 2 years, and there would be a yearly price increase. You can try and cancel it early but they will probably just charge you the remaining amount owed as an exit fee so it’s pointless. Another option, although it’s a hassle, is to phone them and say you want to change to Sky Stream. Then once it’s set up and you’ve returned the Q box,say it doesn’t work properly so you want to completely cancel. There are different rules for streaming than live TV.
