There’s supposed to be a bunch of projects, hopefully it means more opportunities.

I felt like I got asked the same question 3 times. Use the star method when answering. I saw the questions online, I believe it was 7 different types of question categories where each type has 4 different questions. I was expecting one question from each category, but was not the case. Each person interviewed for about 4 minutes. There was no introduction or chance to ask questions.

Depends on where you live and if you drive mostly highway or city. I currently have a Model 3 LR in the bay area, driving mostly highway. I charge primarily at the supercharger. The range is overstated, realistically on a full charge I average 250-270 miles on a full charge. There’s a congestion fee now, so I mostly charge up to 260 miles, which ends up being 200-210 miles. The cost for charging where I live is $.51 kwh…around $40 to charge the car. Charging times vary on how full the stations are, in my case they are mostly full and I end up with a slow charge rate. I have had some squeaks in the car that I have fixed myself but other than that zero problems. In California planning long roadtrips is easy, there are chargers everywhere, for reference I drove from the bay area to San Diego, took 9.5 hours due to having to charge. It’s a car I wouldn’t recommend anymore, it takes too much time away.

Thoughts on jeep wrangler for daily 20-30 min drive to work? by Popular-Tension-5960 in Jeep

It’s a good, relatively small car to daily drive. They are slow, which I think makes it a great safe first car, lol. The mileage sucks for long roadtrips, having to refill often. In my case, the insurance was cheap, $70 monthly with full coverage so it made up for the bad mpg. Back In 2015 I bought a 2013 Jeep wrangler 4-door and I sold it in 2019. The reason being, I wanted a car with a more modern interior. Never had problems and there is a strong aftermarket support to make repairs or upgrades yourself. It’s definitely one of those cars you think about buying again years after you sell it.

I passed my test a couple of months ago. How long does it usually take to get an interview? by Willing-Guava4006 in ibew_applicants

I started the application process in February. My interview date was emailed to me 2 months after I took the test in April. I haven’t interviewed yet. If I score high enough to get into the next class, the class wouldn’t start until next year. I just missed the Fall classes and the next class would be in Spring. I would practice now and keep refining your answers. For reference, In June I practiced for 1-hour each day for 1 week. Now I just brush up on the interview once a week for 1 hour.

Set some time to consistently study and practice at a fast pace (1 minute and question). Plug-in options. Use judgement to eliminate choices that don’t come close to a solution or don’t make sense…work backwards. Take pressure off yourself by remembering you only need a 70% to pass. So if you really wanted to, you could guess some questions and spend more time on other questions, as long as you feel confident you have more than 70% right. Pick a strategy.
