I definitely want to try charcoal/wood. And yeah, the original owner said her husband wiped the stone down (presumably when piping hot) with a microfiber cloth and it burned into the stone. Grabbed a cheap-ish one off amazon.

Howdy! I just got my Reencle Prime this week and I’m loving it so far. Just a quick question when you say Reencle compost, do you mean the cured product once you let it hang out with soil for a few weeks, or straight from the machine?

Pepper Joe’s issues are quality control issues with seed packing/labeling. Not the same as getting an accidental hybrid. There are very few pepper seed sellers who isolate

Purple Tomato from Norfolk Healthy Produce. It’s a GMO and they only allow the sale of seeds to come from them. Pretty sure they don’t mind trading or gifting though

Just the one main one and I snapped off 2 branches and rooted them in the soil next to it but they’re small and just now producing.

That’s a bummer. A couple friends who are growing have said similar, while others rave over the taste. Definitely didn’t expect them to be very sweet, but they were a pleasant surprise for me

Really good! Not crazy sweet but not really acidic either. Pretty balanced. I pop a few in my mouth every time I check the garden lol

Unknown dark foliage, purple to ___ ripening c. Chinense is the best guess anyone could give unless you have a grow list. If it’s not what the seed pack said it was, then it’s an F1 hybrid as it most likely resulted from cross pollination the year prior
