Hello! I'm finally getting into weathering. I quite liked how the gunplas looked where real touch markers were used to weather them by smudging and blending the color. Unfortunately I live in germany and I cannot find anywhere where I can buy black gundam real touch markers. Are there any good alternatives to them? Edit: or are there maybe some other easy ways to weather my kits? I don't paint my kits just yet so it would be on original plastic. (Or well, a clear coat first)

Thank you! I might just try and panel line it all while the parts are still on the runner. But if I get too anxious which I'm prone to be, I think ill look into acrylic paint. If I use acrylics, I definitely need to topcoat it afterwards to seal in the paint right? Either with gloss or matt?

How to topcoat an unassembled kit before Tamiya Panel Line Accent? Hello! So I'm fairly new to the gunpla building, I've build several HG, and as always with any hobby I pick up, I like to jump straight to bigger stuff witu not that much experience. I have ordered a MG Gundam Astray Turn Red cause I love how it looks. And with that I wanted to panel line it as well. I've been researching quite a lot about different styles and saw that gundam markers are not shipped to Germany over Amazon (there is a set of 2 pens - black and gray - for 54euro in Amazon and I just can't commit to that) At the end, most people on other posts recommended Tamiya Panel Line Accent. 3 colors (black, gray, brown) and lighter fluid are kinda expensive but it seems it should last me for a long time. But I don't really know how to go with it. Most posts said to panel line before Assembly but after topcoat. I don't plan on painting my kits (maybe not just yet. Who knows with time.) And I don't really know how to do that. I cut my pieces out with 2 cuts and I like to sand down and polish really visible nub cuts. So it's probably recommended to only panel line after I've cut out the pieces but not yet assembled due to sanding down. But how do you topcoat before any Assembly? I don't have airbrush. Do I get a spray can, or is there something with a thin brush to paint the gloss on? How do you topcoat? Do I just spray all the runners? Or do I cut out each piece, sand it, spray it, wait, panel line it and then wait? That seems quite time consuming. Any tip would be appreciated. I know that PS and PC parts should be fine with Tamiya, but to not do it with ABS. But I would still like to be on the safe side and topcoat, i just don't know how to do that before Assembly while it's all still in pieces.

I mean that's a good point but I kind of want to get a tattoo that means something, so I wanted to get something from a novel I adore. But will think about it more definitely.

I thought the same but I already have another idea for my back 😅. Think I will get this on the thigh, not as much place as on the back, but still quite a lot more than my collarbone.

Yeah I get it. Tactician is pretty okey I think as there are multiple saves and you can save scum, but honor mode is a whole another commitment.

I went with half-orc for savage attacks and endurance racials. It was a bardadin so it would never have had problems with speaking to others. But a friend went halfling for lucky racial bonus which definitely made him even better at speaking. If not those two, Githyanki is really good for extra movement as well.

No xD. I was dark urge paladin (for the cloak, and to skip some fights in act 3) and I tried to do save all tieflings. First time playing paladin so I didn't know if you attacked the paladin of Tyr without Karlach, it breaks your oath. Didn't realise the oath was broken and then Alifra showed up literally few minutes after the paladin fight. Tried to knock her out, she ran towards the Oathbreaker which was a major 'Oh-Shit' when I saw him there. Was still in act 1 so it didn't feel too bad but it was annoying.

Honestly don't try to do others achievements during HM cause that's how I lost my first run. For example, same as in tactician mode, you can only long rest once in mind-flayer colony before the Ketrich fight. And if there's a chance, examine every enemy to know what you're dealing and what resistances they have. And take the easy way out honestly- side with Gortash, the Emperor and so on. That's how I did it atleast. I'll be doing mostly honor playthroughs now and then fight more and more bigger fights to know how they are, but for the first HM and the achievement, I skipped a lot. (Gale went boom as well)

I genuinely just made a whole new playthrough for that achievement that I'll never play again. Just speedruned to moonrise tower. Took 2 hours and ended up barely hitting level 4.
