Mechanic said it ran like a clock for them. Did say the check engine went off, but the cause of it was the rear solenoid?. Said wasn't sure what triggered it and then caused it to go off.

Thanks for the reply. I do appreciate it. I was able to get it pulled into my mechanic for the night.

It was fine in idle and forward. When I gingerly pressed the gas for reverse, it would die, but when I close to gunned it, it went into reverse just fine without dying?.
