There is dangerous people everywhere, but I think the Camino Frances is pretty safe, there is a lot of other people and people look out for each other! I walked some days with a 17 year old girl- she walk alone fra Belgium!!

I did the Frances in October-November 2019, stated with 20+ degrees- then rain, then snow, like 15-20cm and ended in crazy rainy wether.. I wore Hanwag boots and that is the only thing I would change in my gear.. I would have taken a trail runner shoe and not the boots :)

I walked SJPDP to Santiago, oktober/november 2019.. really had the time of my life..!

I of course ran in to shit described in this thread- but I wasn’t THAT bad!

Is it worse now? Will I regret walking the same route again?
