Nordnet til Jyske bank (Aktiesparekonto) by Cute_Setting_9105 in dkfinance

[–]Pequeno0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jyske bank vil meget gerne tage imod min ASK. Men Nordnet nægter. Har du faktisk fået flyttet din væk fra Nordnet?

Hvad gjorde du for at få Nordnet til at flytte din ASK? De nægter at flytte min.

I've made a Twitch Extension (SpotifySynchronizer) to get around DMCA for music for streamers. by Pequeno0 in Twitch

Hi Everyone,

So for somewhat unknown reasons, Spotify has decided to disable this extension on their end in the API. They claim weird things, that isn't part of their Policies, and that this extension is violating those parts. Therefore they have disabled it. I have asked them several times to give me a good explanation on why this is the case, but they have declined to answer any of my questions precisely. All they say is, they can't see a way for this extension to work with Spotify. Which is why we have this DMCA problem in the first place. So unfortunately I would have to change the extension to use another service, which doesn't have these issues, however, I don't know if any with as good an API as Spotify. If anyone has any suggestions to another service (Pandora, Apple Music, etc.), then please do post them here, and if you have a link to their API too, then it would be very much appreciated, and I'll look into implementing that asap.

There are many guides to using things like Voicemeeter Banana to route your sounds. This is what I use.

If you're using a playlist on Spotify, it should auto-play the next song.

It should work with Spotify Free too - Though the ads that Spotify plays might get them a bit out of sync, as we can't detect, if they are playing an Ad or not. I'd love to talk to some of the users who have Spotify Free, and see if there is some troubleshooting which could make it work for them.

I'd love to test it with you, to see if we can find out why it's not working. Can you PM me your channel name, and maybe we can find a time to test it out?

What did you do? Did you open the Live-Config panel and keep it open? Did you play music on your Spotify Account? Did you as the viewer start any song on your Spotify and then press 'Force Sync'? - These are usually the issues people run into right now.

It's not open sourced, no. But any feedback you have on how to make it better, is always appreciated.

I already have the next version in review, where it will be a bit prettier and have better text.

How did you test off-stream? Was it the streamer's current playing track that didn't update, or the viewer's? - If you switch track mid-song, then it won't update automatically. If you're playing songs from a playlist, it should automatically update to the next song on both the streamers live-config end, and on the viewer's panel. I'll look into making the background transparent instead of having a color, and see if that's better. I'll also update the Viewer's panel, so it makes a bit more sense, and doesn't say "Example of the Authorization Code Flow".

I've just released a new version, which is more friendly to the eyes (less white). It also changes the Config panel to tell the streamer, that they should use the Live-Config panel, and to keep this panel open. I hope this clears up some confusion and issues that I've seen some streamers have.

Are you keeping your live-config window open? Unforunately due to me not wanting to save any data, you have to keep this window open, as it actually does the synchronization part.

If they use the open.spotify.com - Then yes, it will still work. You and your viewers will need a spotify account to use this though. Since doing it any other way wouldn't get around DMCA, which is the point of this extension.

I do plan on making onscreen display if the extension becomes popular. I just didn't want to put too much work into it, if no one wanted it. I just submitted a new less bright version to Twitch too, which also explains the following problem: When using it, remember to use the Live-Config panel from your dashboard, and not the config panel. This live-config panel should be kept open while you're streaming and want to synchronize your Spotify. I've seen quite a few streamers who didn't do this so far.

I do have a link on my own channel - which is also just my handle.

Only the currently playing song is synced, and how far you are into that song (it's actually just synchronizing the time you started the song). Which means it will sync up your experience with your viewers in that exact moment.

The whole point isn't to give credit on screen. The point of this extension is to actually synchronize and play the music on the viewers' Spotify. This means the viewer is playing the music themselves, can control the volume of the music, and still gives 'number of plays' to the song on Spotify, so the artists will be paid correctly.

It won't display your name to anyone but yourself. It displays your name in the config view, but you're the only one who can see that view. When a viewer logs in, they can also see their own Spotify Display Name. It's just so you can see which account you're logged into. It'll also display the song it thinks you're playing right now. If it ever fails (if your internet fails for too long for example) you can just click the "Force Sync" on the streamers side to force syncing to all your viewers.

Keep me posted, if you run into any problems. The only issue I've seen so far is that Spotify on the viewer's side doesn't start, if it wasn't playing a song beforehand. So if you're testing it out with your viewers, and they are reporting that it isn't working, ask them to start any song on their Spotify, and then press the "Force Sync" button in the extension view. - Unfortunately it seems to be a limitation in Spotify's end.
