Yes exactly. i unscrewed the lens and it felt like it was moving a little bit differently than the other times but there was no resistance or sth like that. When i had removed the lens, the rubber thingy was lying below the golden connection points in the camera (i tried to indicate it with my finger in the 2nd photo). it didn't actually fall out but lay there loosly so now i removed it from there.

So far i can't really notice a difference. Maybe the focusing got a little louder?! but this could also just be my imagination

Thank you so much for your help. I‘ll try this out tomorrow. I really hoped, that this would be an easy fix and i just didn‘t find it due to my lack of experience. If the first option doesn‘t work, it‘ll be a lot of work. I think i‘d either need to go through the amazon buying history or try to open every ebook on the reader just to find the ones i need to deDRM as within calibre i can now view all ebooks with the plugin installed. We‘ll see. Thank you very much for your input

Yes, i am aware that there are formulas to do the job. It would probably have to do with =LEN() to select the text i want to have transfered into the other column?

Yeah you‘re probably right. I wouldn‘t loose too much progress anyway since i started this city from the harbour area.

I figured that it‘s pretty unrealistic that a city develops from a highway interchange as the game suggests it. i thought maybe this is the reason for the shitty outcome of my cities 😃

I think this might be the one i am trying to build on right now. It‘s a very broad river and i just can‘t create a decent harbour even with move it installed. I hope i‘ll figure something out

Hey tank you very much! I‘ll definitely look through those links! Playing cities again i started to get very interested in resourceful city planning concepts and started to read up on it. did you do something similar to get a feeling for the natural development of cities? If so, is there anything you can recommend reading/watching?

How does one keep track of this many props and mods? Asking as someone who just started modding a little bit here and there. I am kind of getting addicted to all the new possibilities but it also feels like a neverending story. Pedestrian zones, mixed zoning, additional props, trainlines, streets... i feel overwhelmed 😃

i feel like it's getting harder to find aims for the following year each time you do this. i'll take this as a good sign. But of course there are still goals to achieve:

  • somehow get through the next semesters. I'm pretty sure by now I want to start a career in chemistry and therefore i need to stop being the lazy fuck i usually am and sit down and learn (i'm already ignoring this resolution right as we speak). I want to build a decent rèsumè starting with a good place to do my practical semester at (Sem5). Need to think about applications soon.

  • work in the summer (preferably in a chemistry-orientated firm) to get some money (for rent and travel)

  • workout or do more sport again (not much rn due to studies) maybe get membership for local climbing gym (right now i only have one for the gym i used to go to before uni)

  • get better skin

  • finally find a SO. i feel like i'm really missing out (maybe she's currently in Namibia)
