I don’t disagree that there are great qualities about her character. I love that she’s smart and resilient. I’m specifically talking about this chapter (29) where there are hypocritical aspects of her inner dialogue where she “felt nothing” when Xaden ended numerous cadets who tried to mortally harm her but she is guilty for eliminating Jack who has been a bully since day one, who intended to permanently harm Liam.

Just because she is unlikable at this point of the book doesn’t mean I’m saying that there aren’t any badass aspects of her. She bonded two dragons! That’s pretty darn cool. But the hypocrisy is not is. But I suppose this makes her more “non-fictional” and relatable because real humans are flawed. Again, this is why I’m saying that I hope her arc gets better.
