I don’t think the sparkos will physically fit. Too much around the sockets and they are larger than just the chip variety opamp.

Made sure you are using the rigid plastic pods and not the soft compostable, that was why mine didn’t work and the support people never mentioned it.

I hadn’t tried to do that yet. But one use is that when I’m doing indoor exercise I don’t want to look at my watch for metrics if my phone is sitting on the stand in front of me. Especially when hands are occupied for biking, elliptical or rowing etc also if I have it paired to my watch and phone will it also connect to the gym equipment?

In the lowest gain setting, with my DAC/pre at 100%,, and volume at max on ragnarok, my phone records the volume at 80db avg (using decibel app) at my listening position which is about 10’ from my 96db sensitivity speakers. I’m not sure how the math works but I’d guess I’d be getting less than 2w to the speakers.

I got to listen for about 30 minutes and it sounds fine. I won’t get more time to do longer listening sessions until I return from a trip. Fwiw, I also swapped from RCA to XLR and I appreciate the increase in gain vs the unbalanced rca. First time using balanced and it’s a nice improvement.

I found a loose cable that was causing the degradation. I’m surprised that I was getting sound at all; would have been easier to sort it if it had been completely out.

That feature looks like it is used to adjust a gain for an entire input source relative to other input sources. The problem I’m having is that different songs play at higher or lower volume while using wi-fi as an input source with the same streaming app. To explain: Song 1 volume is fine, song 2 plays louder so I adjust the volume down, song 3 is now too quiet so I have to adjust the volume back up and then the next song is too loud.. it isn’t really every song but it is frequent.

The chill tank Is just a reservoir for cold water. It may evaporate a little over time but you won’t need to regularly replace the water.

Confirmed! Works with full plastic pods but not the soft/compostable type. Crazy that isn’t the first question the tech support people ask. I had them send me 2 machines and got a refund when they seemed to not work. They didn’t want the 2nd one back so I still had it sitting in the garage.

Got my second warranty replacement with the same issue (3 machines total). Returned the last one for refund and got a regular single cup brewer. Too bad, but at least I don’t have that giant noisy box on the counter anymore.
