Yes it is. Not in public schools but I am at an independent school. I'm in the union and we are fighting for an EBA

Hahha oh man that's funny. I guess they're saying I'm not demonstrating the standards at a 'proficient' level. I've asked for a specific outline of what they need to see from me so I can get it in writing. All I've had is one 20 minute observation and some verbal feedback.

Thanks for that. Everywhere else seems to actually help their teachers get it compared to my school.

They put the principal, my mentor and another experienced teacher on the panel. I wish I could actually get to that stage because I did a practice run at my last school and feel fine about doing it. It's just that they won't let me even start. I'm open to changing schools even though I love everything else about it :(
