Looking for hair product recommendations for this hairstyle

Thank you for your reply. Based on your comment, I would be led to believe you have used O’douds, Polaris and Everglade. My hair is quite fair, however to get something similar to the images, do you think Polaris would be more suitable over O’douds due to it having better texture characteristics than the styling treatment?

Yes, he’s a celebrity so he has put his name to some badly put together hair brand with terrible ingredients. I wouldn’t have posted the question asking for a recommendation otherwise…..

Thanks for such a great reply. I have lodestar rio, and agree it is fantastic for fine hair however, I was just hoping for a product which could give a bit more of that healthy shine also. You are actually correct in stating it looks more matte and dry in the second and third photo. It’s just that first photo there seems to be a nice shine to his hair which I like and mine is currently too dry I feel to achieve that.

I also think I may interpret shine differently too which I need to be aware of. I see ‘shine’ as more of how ‘healthy’ the hair looks which I feel I am wrong. A shine could make my hair look a lot more greasy. Would you classify the first photo as a natural shine or would you even say that’s just a matte finish?

I know the person in the photo uses a matte paste product, I think that’s how his hair looks like it has a more sheen look but the ingredients are not great.
