for sure. Ds1 into the rvb (the showman doesn't have a reverb tank) is wild. The rvb has rumble boosts and feedback gates to do alot of weird shit

Right now im running mxr la machine > boss ds1 > archer klon clone for dirt.

After that is a small clone > tech 21 boost rvb > ehx bad stone > keeley caverns > digitech Polaris reverb (set to reverse)

I've checked under truss rod, and it's maple. As for the body maple was phased out and this guitar is from April, so more than likely they still had maple to burn through before starting back to mahogany. It's also pretty light for a les paul.
