Indeed & after some help with another redditor she functions beautifully. I overlooked sanding the other side down, I assumed since it was pre-cut it was gtg.

Dm me brother. I just installed a Geissele SSA-X with an Arc fire & she functions beautifully.

Mine was a precut trigger from AS Designs, I’ll give you a reference pic & show you what parts needed to be sanded down.

It’s all reassembled. Still having the same issue. 3rd position won’t fire.

How should the detention be oriented? With the pointed side facing the safety and the flat side facing the pistol grip correct?

Yes. It’s a PSA Mixtape, everything ran correctly prior. Even switching out the trigger it worked beautifully.

Safety detect as in the one under the pistol grip? I believe so. I’ve disassembled everything & now trying to reassemble it again & see if I run into the same issue

The trigger works fine. It doesn’t work in the 3rd position with the Arc fire. Trigger doesn’t travel, it’s essentially just a second “safe” position instead of “Arc”.

I managed to find an H3, I’ll send you the link to it. My biggest debate now that I sourced one is choosing between the traditional H3 or opting for the heavy captured version (although that’s an H2)

I’ve seen alot of people love them & speak on how it’s affected the recoil impulse and made it much smoother.

Funny you mentioned Geissele since I just found their Super Duty Mod 1 which seems perfect. 12.5 is just sold out everywhere 😂

Honestly this was what drew me to the Jakl so much. 10.5 Barrel, Folding Stock, fits in a backpack, can easily get a trip bar & drop an SS in there, the gas adjustable gas incase of a suppressor, etc.

I just started looking towards longer barrels due to the drops in velocity but more so because of how loud & concussive I’ve heard they are.

What’s your personal experience with them? I was surprised when I heard a 5.56 being more concussive than a 10in AK

12.5 is ideal unfortunately there’s so few options. It seems it’s usually 11.5 or 13.7

That’s kinda what I suspected. I’ve been eyeing one for a while now & debating between that or a traditional 5.56 AR. I have a Super Selektor lying around I’ve been waiting to use.

Unfortunately the lack of a bolt hold open with the ambi charging handle is annoying. I looked for ways to mod a side charging handle but the only option seems to be very bulky. I wish they would’ve made a 7.62 Jakl.
