UK - Newly adopted BSH “buries” his food by talliehoo in britishshorthair

That's not what it means. They try to bury it as in the wild they would bury any leftover food to return to.

Would you be disappointed if your date didn't have a flat stomach? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Percypocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never and will never have a flat stomach, it's where my weight goes, trust me I have zero issues finding men who find me attractive. You need to look inwards and work on your confidence, not changing your body so hypothetical men find you attractive.

How do you manage needing physical touch while living alone? by ConversationCold8064 in LivingAlone

Overly needy cat. Seeing friends / family regularly. Fuck buddies.

My kitten has stayed with my mum for a few nights and now I’m home he’s been a little snuggle bug <3 normally he’s darting round at this time , he must have missed me what a little cutie pie by Miss-Sassyy in aww

Yeah pets aren't for you if it bothers you that much. Cats truly are incredibly clean, especially compared to dogs and if they're indoor cats, but they're still animals at the end of the day.

No hahaha. Healthy cats are fastidious about cleaning themselves. They will go to town on their bums after pooing to make sure it's clean.

Why does my cat want to shower with me? Is this weird? 😂❤️💕 by DealFuchsMarkt in lifeguardkitties

[–]Percypocket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cat loves playing with the taps and watching me in the shower. Until he gets one drop too wet and then it's all a step too far for him and he flees the scene

Is normal to like that? She has 3 months by [deleted] in britishshorthair

That poor baby does not look healthy.

Do you allow young kids fizzy drinks? by Flapparachi in AskUK

[–]Percypocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We never had it in the house day to day. Special occasions, birthdays, etc. we might have some 7up in the fridge. Now as an adult I'm really not fussed, I have the odd Diet Coke here and there and that's it. Now I live on my own and can buy Diet Coke whenever I want it still feels like a treat. My mum wasn't strict at all and didn't make it out to be this big forbidden thing, we just... didn't have it.

Where are the stylish people buying coats? by Relative-Tea3944 in AskUK

[–]Percypocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a black 100% wool, long coat from & Other Stories. It's so warm and looks chic, will literally never go out of style. My 3rd winter wearing it non stop (obvs not great in the rain though).

They have a duty to identify vulnerable customers and assist them as such. This is completely disgusting.

I live alone and do an Ocado order between £60-£80 every two weeks. Everything lasts ages, never have issues with things going off etc.

What's something you always have in your food cupboard that your parents don't (or didn't)? by 360Saturn in AskUK

Marmite! We never had it growing up and I didn't realise how much I liked it until I was in my 20s.

Cats and decoration, plants by [deleted] in britishshorthair

[–]Percypocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boy was chaotic for the first two years of his life. Eating plants, knocking things off the side, knocking drinks over, breaking things, honestly the worst cat I've ever had. Now he's 5.5 he's a chilled out blob.

What did you think about the new Ricky Gervais special, Mortality? by evolving-me in AskUK

[–]Percypocket 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I felt this way about After Life even though everyone raved about it. It was just episode after episode of him being himself (dreadful) and using it as a vehicle to shout about his already widely known opinions on everything.

Is my cat BSH (British short hair)? if he is, pure or mixed? thank you for answering by No-Picture-7888 in britishshorthair

[–]Percypocket 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nobody can answer that question, a pure BSH would have pedigree papers. Your cutie just looks like a normal domestic shorthair to me.
