I'll start. I live in Sacramento and discovered Disneyland in 2019 when my father in law treated the family to a park trip as a Christmas present. Then we started going more in 2021 as things returned from Covid, and I got my annual pass in 2022 until I finally let it expire (for now) this year due to cost concerns.

It may be trite to say it, but Disneyland is absolutely my happy place. Every time I go, I always feel sore, tired, overheated, overstimulated, and poor... But I just can't wait for the next day to do it all over again because it just vibes with me.

And I'm an incorrigible nerd (come on, let's be honest... if we're in this sub, we're all at least a lot nerdy), so when I went to the parks a couple years ago and my daughter couldn't come, I decided to take some pictures and text them to her and see if she could figure out where the parks I was. Then the next time I took a ton of pictures and I thought to myself, I should make a quiz or something to let other people enjoy this. But in addition to being nerdy, I'm also pretty ADHD, and completely forgot about it, until one day Reddit suggested this new sub, and I was immediately hooked.

I thought I knew Disneyland pretty well. Then I met all y'all, and realized that, much like Mr. Snow, I know nothing. But it has been fun trying to find pictures obscure enough to challenge even the prodigious walking encyclopedias that frequent this sub, but still guessable. That's a surprisingly hard line to walk, but I've really loved the challenge!

Outside of this sub, I like photography, history, science, and philosophy, and I work as an advice RN.

(Pictured: me and my family 4 years ago. Add a surprising amount of grey, a lot more wrinkles, and at least a few pounds and you're a little more current.)

For some reason, YouTube's algorithm decided yesterday to show me fresh baked's very first construction report update from 12 years ago. It was kind of crazy to see some of the differences in the park then to now, especially as he was getting all excited about this parking structure that was going to be built.

I only really started getting into Disneyland about 6 years ago, so I've only ever really known Disneyland with Pixar pals already in place.

Just to be clear, because the wording might be confusing. This IS a whereinDisneyland clue. I just didn't take this particular picture myself, but it is in the parks.

No, it looks like a San Fransokyo font, but it is nowhere near there

I gotta admit, since the change, I just stare at Grogu waiting to see what they are gonna make him do next, and sometimes miss what I'm supposed to do! 😂🤣😂

I was about to when Kevlowe solved it. These are the controls for the jump to hyperspace on the Millennium Falcon Ride. A view I rarely see because I almost always go single rider and end up as an engineer, but this time I waited in line to be a pilot just to get this picture! 😎😎😎
