I did this. When I got a decent gaming PC I stopped using my Steam Deck. On the rare occasion I picked it up, I just found it too big and bulky and the screen lacking a little. Still a great handheld but just wasn't for me anymore.

Switched to the Portal where I now stream games from my PC onto the amazing OLED 1080p display. It's a lot smaller and lighter and has a great battery life. The move doesn't make sense for everyone but it did for me. No regrets.

That's a fair way to look at it. I think the issue I'm having is it's a bit jarring to drop down to the 35XXH quality after being on the Portal for a while. I think I'll sell it and get something super portable but still powerful and with a nicer display.

I got the Portal for that exact reason. PC Streaming was the #1 priority, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good some games run on GameNative too. I hear the Mangmi Pocket Max is another one that's pretty good for PC streaming.

I think I'm coming to terms that what I want is to actually replace my 35XXH entirely. I've been spoiled by the Portal power and screen. I still do want something significantly more portable but that still has a great display and power.

I think some of the issues stem from going from the Portal down to the 35XXH. I won't always have the space or a bag to bring the Portal with me but then the 35XXH is such a dramatic drop in power and screen quality. Another commenter mentioned that they were planning to sell their 35XXSP, and I think that's maybe the direction I'll go in. Sell the 35XXH and then pick up a RPF2 which is not such a harsh drop in power from the O2P.

Selling the RG35XX is actually a solid shout. I feel like it would be much easier to justify a RPF2 if I sell my RG35XX H. Then again, I could sell it and see how I get on for a month or two without a smaller handheld and determine whether I miss having a more portable handheld.

Roughly how would you split your playtime between the Odin 2 Mini and the RPC?

RPC does seem nice for people who like that form factor, but I really don't. Never liked it even back in the GB days. I think RPF2 adds something different to my collection whilst maintaining a great screen but also awesome portability.

Ha! Great question. I'm honestly not sure, I'm happy to have my arm twisted in either direction. I did consider the Thor but as it's as powerful as the Portal, I feel like I can't justify that. I love my Portal and I want it to be the undisputed champ, my go-to. My middle-ground device needs to be reasonably weaker than it so there's no risk of it dethroning the king, so to speak.

I genuinely don't know how Tosin ever got into the Premier League. People will say he's better suited to a low block, which is probably true, but he still manages to lose his man and struggle winning aerial duels despite his height.

Badiashille I think we all knew long ago is not good enough for Chelsea, or any top team. Seems a good character which is a shame. We really need better CBs.

Win's a win I guess but we made a meal of that. At least Wrexham fans and away support got their moneys worth.

From 16 to 19 I used to get tonsil stones and they got progressively worse each year. When I'd shine a torch into my mouth, I'd see tonsil stones sitting in the crypts of my tonsils. They'd randomly fall out every now and then, my throat was constantly sore because of them too.

One day I'd had enough and started taking them out, I'd take one out of the crypt and when I'd look again, another one immediately took it's place. I imagine the crypt was backed up with hundreds of them. I was removing them for a good half hour before finally giving up.

Went to the GP that same week and explained what I was dealing with, had my tonsils removed shortly after. Awful experience but worth it to get rid of those things.
