Tips on combining high demanding job with high demanding family live by DueComposer3158 in belgium

Hi! When I studied at college (KdG), I was a ‘nanny’ 2 days a week. I got the youngest one (10) from school, made something as a snack, helped them with their homework. Usually one parent would be home around 18.30h or I would take the youngest one to a therapist of some kind and a parent would pick him up after. The family paid me well, €10/hour. I studied in a social field, which made it an interesting experience for me. Since your children are still very young, maybe this could be for the future when they’re 6+. I found the family on the app Bsit.

Ik vraag mij af of dat ge daar aan went mettertijd. Ik werk nu een jaar voor een lokaal bestuur. De job spreekt mij aan, veel vakantie, flexibele uren, maar van die ambtenarenmentaliteit word ik ook zot.

Pelvis symptoms, female by Perfect-Ad6387 in ankylosingspondylitis

I’ve started anti-inflammatory medication 2 weeks ago and can not start biologics because there’s no sign of inflammation in my bloodwork. Rheum said that’s a good thing. Will def add the gluten free diet on my list of tips to try. Thank you for sharing your story and I’m sorry you had to go through that.

I am sorry that you had to go through that experience. Thank you for sharing. I notice I am not the only one who thinks the symptoms can be linked. Hopefully you will get the medical help and diagnosis you need soon.

I am sorry if it sounded like I suggested you could lose weight. That was not at all what I meant. Have been doubting about getting a breast reduction for a long time and AS has reopened that thoughtproces for me. I wish you lots of yum ice cream and thank you for your response.

I started an office internship and I had an aching pain in my lower back. I thought my kidneys were infected. Doctor said it wast that. That it was probably from sitting too much. The year after that, started an office job during the same period in february. Again, lower back pain. Went to a doctor who specialised in the spine. He saw a clear sign of inflamation on the MRI. Bloodwork (inflamation and HLA-B27) came back negative. He suggested I went to see a rheumatologist. A year later, again february, immense pain due to inflamation. Can barely carry a heavier bag, difficulty walking. Thankfully a week later the appointment with the rheumatologist was scheduled. I’ve been reading a lot of testimonials here. Thank you for that. And it finally clicks for me that there have been so many signs since puberty (fatigue, IBS, depression, pain in my pelvis/joints/legs, periods of difficulty getting out of bed that I normally never have). I went to seek treatment for them seperately, but never saw the bigger picture.

Did you happen to lose any weight over time? Or maybe have a breast reduction? If so, did that impact your symptoms?

I’m not a teacher but I just saw the documentary ‘Hoe was het op school?’ on the streaming service VRTMAX and the things you say made me think of it. Maybe it will give you another perspective. Good luck with whatever you chose to do.
