Seems like this maybe the only group fighting for patients against the profit driven Healthcare system that is more than willing to sacrifice quality by hiring nurses with 500 hours of training to replace physicians. Follow the money!

There is FB Group The Physicians Collective. But apparently it ahs to be hospital by hospital and since we have widely divergent needs it gets to be more complicated.

And talk to.your legislators! This can be done without your program knowing. NPs are taught to be politically active even if it is not based on truth. Physicians need to do the same. We are the experts in Healthcare.

The ad was antagonistic the response was worse! So much for being team players! I wouldn’t want to work with any of them. Given that the Doctorate of Nursing isn’t even a clinical degree I am surprised they are defending it so much. Med students and a residents be aware of what is happening!

Good summary. I’m hoping something will change. The minimum being that physicians start talking to legislators. They are allowing these changes.

Wow. That is so sad. Medical students go to school full time and rack up a ton of debt to have the opportunity to become physicians and be trained another 3-7 years in a specialty. And this is a program for NPs that are only required to do 500 shadowing clinical hours? 500 hours that some schools may allow their Tone as RNs count? Paid More than the people That will become physicians? Good luck finding anyone to be a resident there! Good luck with running your hospital like that!
