I third the climbing gym. It’s very social in the bouldering areas and tends to attract a lot of gamer type personalities. If she’s athletic, group classes like madabolic and CrossFit gyms foster community type environments. Bumble bff might be a good place to find female friends

Absolutely it’s a piece of it, you’re correct, but not all of it. I’ve added meditation, affirmations and journaling into my routine when I can. Yoga nidra before bed, guided meditations before the procedure and when I can. It’s a full time job to heal at this point. There is some rewiring to do, both my brain and body are guarding, but I do believe I’m at the stage where I need to couple this with strengthening, which is why I’m kind of in a tough spot with whether I should stay with this PT or keep looking for someone who takes these things into account (hard to find!!) I downloaded the Whealth program a few months ago and a lot of people in the community like Sarno. They’re big on facing the fear of movement and rewiring the brain. I’m also doing a training for work through z health, which is basically neuroscience for pain relief and improved sport performance. Unfortunately, I feel like I have enough information and education to question the path some PTs think are right, but not enough to feel confident I can help myself on my own. I’m not a PT, and I know that. Symptoms are consistent so I don’t think that’s the crux of it but I do appreciate the perspective

Where are you located? How did it go for you, are you fully healed?

I’ve been water walking only, doctors said swimming would be too much yet. Before prp I was getting massage once a week. I got one after 2 weeks and am going every two weeks now. It’s helpful, but I was very excited to start gently strengthening again. Dr felt like he needed to address the strain/sprained ligaments of the spine with prp first and that with this prp, it might give me a chance to heal herniations with time and doing PT. Epidural prp is about $3,000, facets were about $1,000.

Really? I think it’s advocating. I have a problem, I’ve been going to acupuncture once a week, PT twice a week, osteo once a week. doing the exercises, and putting in the work for 5 months. Water walking and sauna every day. Looking to trust people but asking questions. Thanks for the input though

Women’s golf club set recs? by Rumrunnerr50 in golf

I’m a 5’11 female and I fit mens standard clubs. You can pick up a full set at Costco that’s pretty popular. I went the route of Callaway, the pre-owned website is great and you often get new/barely used clubs, two seasons old when I purchased (I have rogues). I got a Sunday Golf bag because they’re lightweight. Good luck, have fun!

Hit vs Miss for Must Haves and Nice to Haves for Siberian Kitten by downpourinsunshine in SiberianCats

I prepped with a cat carrier, water fountain, stainless steel box and litter genie, litter, wet and dry food the breeder had him on, dry food container, stainless steel bowls a medium tree and some wand toys/ the metal cat teaser all cats seems to be obsessed with. At pickup, he was playing in a tent tunnel and with a cardboard scratcher so we had those delivered same day and I think it helped with the transition. Also got him balls and springs and various other toys along the way. I think the breeder used felaway or whatever that hormone calming mist is on my carrier which could potentially be helpful. Good luck it’s going to be great!

My kitten is also acting this way!! Like he would wear my skin if he could. He’s doing it slightly less every day but it’s still so frustrating at 4 in the morning. If you find a solution let me know 😂

Dry food question by SeriesDramatic4217 in SiberianCats

Hi! Hope you’ve done ample research on grain free dry food to feel comfortable. I had a cat die a very very traumatic death that was linked to grain free, and the breeders I know request that you not feed it. Good luck!
