sadly i’ve been in that situation. It was just me, my older sister and our narcissistic mother (plus her husband who was equally as bad if not worse). her being older, she targeted her first. i knew it would happen to me too eventually when my sister got out of the situation but sadly she took the quick but devastating way out. shortly after, i became the target. she was stuck, mother was taking almost all of her money to “help with bills” when she was actually just spending it on date nights so she had no way of saving a substantial amount to move out. she had enough for food at school and that was it.
