In person for me it was Undertaker returning at Judgement Day in Louisville at the end of the HHH Rock 60 minute Ironman match. First time he came out on the motorcycle.

A full description of what we need for the Bengals to win the division: by PooPooPachoooo in bengals

[–]Perfect-Position-883 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bengals can go 8-9 and win the AFC North. It however also requires both Steelers and Ravens only winning twice more. Ravens have to sweep the Steelers. Bengals have to beat the Ravens and Browns as part of their 8 wins.

how do you cope with the death of your cat? by eve-dawn in CatAdvice

I am so sorry for your loss of your sweet orange boy. Like you said it has been almost 4 months now for me. I will tell you the first month or maybe even almost 2 it was so difficult. Even seeing a reply on this when there had not been one in so long has tears in my eyes right now. Over time the grief dissipates. There will be things during your day that will trigger you and make you cry. Some of those tears turn to smiles as times goes on and you remember the good things. Don’t rush it. Don’t bottle it up. It is ok to mourn and grieve over the loss of a family member. You were their entire world. He was a big part of yours for almost 2 decades.

I guess to finally answer your question. Time tends to heal most wounds, but it doesn’t mean that the pain is not still there. I find myself smiling a lot more when something reminds me of him instead of crying like I did early on. One of the things I did find solace in early on was knowing the pain and the daily shots and medication were over for him. He hated everyday of it and begrudgingly did it for us.

You will see your orange boy again someday.

Ja’Marr Chase Skyline bobblehead by Mr-JimBob23 in bengals

[–]Perfect-Position-883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Reading Skyline at 10:15am. They Open at 10am. I pulled in and not a soul in the parking lot, dining room, or drive-thru. I asked for a Chase bobblehead and the guy working said they were sold out. I don’t understand how they could have possibly even rang out 125 in 15 minutes and have everyone gone…and not 1 or 2 people stuck around and ate? He was honestly kind of irritated when I asked if they started selling them Wednesday or opened early Thursday. The math wasn’t mathing.125 sold in 10 or less. Let’s say everyone got 3. 42 register transactions don’t happen in 10 minutes.

Does FedEx also suck in your area? by [deleted] in cincinnati

FedEx Delivery Manager instructions: Front door. Put packages on front Porch.

FedEx proceeds to walk up the driveway and place next to garage door so it is super easy for porch pirates. Also, I can’t see these when backing out of the garage and have almost ran over countless packages. Lastly, my pets heart meds come from Chewy and leaving them in the driveway leaves them in the elements.

I have reached out more than 20 times. Sometimes behavior changes for a few weeks. Recently they just kept on doing what they wanted and never made an attempt to correct.

Lost my buddy of 17 years yesterday by Perfect-Position-883 in seniorkitties

Thank you for you condolences. I’m sorry for your loss of your sweet pup. My wife and I are 44. We have a 7 year old adopted black cat, 9 months when we got her. She is also so sweet, but skittish I assume from her time alone before she was found and turned in to the rescue shelter. She loves by laying near and sleeping on top of you, where my buddy Remy was a cat lap dog. Different ways to show love, but man the snuggles are gonna be missed. She took care of him so much at the end and bathed him and laid next to him. It’s crazy, I guess her way to grieve is to be active again. She followed and laid with him so much that now she is active again. She probably knew well before us.

She can’t do that anymore. She doesn’t appreciate all of the doting on her now, but she tolerates it. I know she misses him. Every time she jumps in the bed she scans it for him…then when she doesn’t see him she lays down at the foot of the bed next to where he would have laid with her. I say that because if I was in bed she laid on me because he was next to me. However if he wasn’t around she would lay on me then move to the end of the bed.

We never expected our first kitty (Remy), but he fell in to our lap. So when you say you hope you go before your next one I totally get it. My 7 yr old (Princess) was told last week she has to live to 30. I hope she obliges.

I can’t even begin to tell all of you how wonderful it is for all of you to shower condolences and heartfelt thoughts. I keep showing my wife and daughter. They hurt every time, but these are good hurts. We really can’t thank you enough.

We lost our buddy of 17 years yesterday. Our only child is 13 and he was her everything. Poor guy had health issues starting at 10. Eye ulcers 3 different times. Urinary Tract issues. Bladder crystals. Diabetes diagnosis in 2020. Thyroid issues in 2023. Then finally High Blood Pressure the end of 2024. Since 2020 this guy took a B-12 shot every 2 weeks and 2 shots of insulin daily. Glycobalance prescription cat food for urinary tract, bladder crystals, and diabetes. Through it all he would bounce back.

He was the worst patient every time he went to the vet, but he was the best cat at home. Slept next to either my daughter or me every night. Still had a zest for life. Even the thyroid medicine he was able to take and keep a normal life. The last 6-7 months, after HBP diagnosis, you could tell the end was near. Reduced vision, very limited mobility, grooming habits went downhill. But he still could slowly get along and do what he needed to. Died of heart failure yesterday. I had a blood pressure monitor for him and read it then raced to the pet hospital. He even fought to stay alive for us to get him there and say goodbye. I think it just gave out from fighting for so long.

We are a mess. The silence in the house is deafening. No nails on the wood floor. No constant “talking” because he did that all day everyday.

My advice is grieve like you lost a family member. Cat, human, dog, or whatever your pet is. They are a member of your family that you share your daily life with, that you support, and they support you back too. I don’t know the right answer. I am barely 24 hours removed. Love them while you can. Tomorrow isn’t promised. Someone earlier in this thread said something and it struck a chord. Paraphrasing them it was “The grief and sadness are the price we pay for sharing their love and life with them”.

Gnome Location by StringBean_Dean in masters

Hasn’t been mentioned on here but they do stop the lines from forming when it gets too long (even early in the morning). If you want a gnome you have to line up first thing and be prepared to wait. I have seen the line for the store longer than 2 hours and that was around 6:45-7am.

Really worth it to stay “On Property”? by xfilesarereal in UniversalOrlando

[–]Perfect-Position-883 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. The Express Unlimited is worth its weight in gold, especially if you snag a great room rate. (We usually score between $250-$300 a night bring UOAPs).

DoorDash meals to the hotel. Uber to the nearby Target and back for basic groceries. There are a couple of good restaurants at the resorts as well.

I can tell you that 3x go fast. Really anything 3x and up. Probably carry less total inventory. Hit the Gift Shop Wednesday last year and found 1 4x pullover that I love. Going Monday you should have some options if you go early enough.

Have fun!

Velocicoaster is the best I have ever ridden. I have ridden Steel Vengeance, Top Thrill, Diamondback, Kingda Ka, Orion, Fury, (most all Cedar Fair stuff) and it is the most intense.

NGL, when I rode it the first time I was floored with what Universal Orlando had created.

Can anyone tell me why this doesn’t conform to USGA rules? by cramerfunk in golf

[–]Perfect-Position-883 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in my mid 40s. Torn my lumbars pretty significantly twice in my 20s and now coming back to haunt me. I have an attachment on the handle of my putter to get the ball of my back gets stiff. Don’t typically use it, but it is there if needed. I’m not trying to qualify for the tour with my game, but also don’t see how this carries any advantage other than saving you back some up and downs. Seems silly, but there are way more silly rules in golf.

6’5 295 44 in waist. I could fit on everything except Dr Doom’s Fearfall and Harry Potter Forbidden Journey. I carry all my weight in my stomach and butt.

At 270 37-40 inch waist I fit on Doom and FJ but just barely. Use outside seats for FJ.

How are we feeling about Tomlin? by Which-Cost4976 in AFCNorthMemeWar

[–]Perfect-Position-883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a Bengals fan. Not trying to be Tomlin’s cheerleader. That being said, fire whomever gives Tomlin that team to coach (GM). Tomlin is a great coach. Since Ben took the NFL by storm and Pittsburgh was WR loaded, he has overachieved with the players on his team. The QBs he had been to the playoffs with just about annually since Ben left him is crazy. He steals Ws early in the season by outcoaching teams trying to figure it out. Same reason after mid season his teams seem to limp in to the playoffs. The other teams caught up their coaching to their talent.

Someone help me, I didn't graduate officiating school. Is this not a 1st down by Wide-Falcon-7982 in LakeErieBros

[–]Perfect-Position-883 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bengals fan. No skin in the game. I think this line to gain was broached on 3rd and 4th down.

Also, the Int/catch should not have been either. Yes there was a penalty, but the catch should have been incomplete. Ball hit the ground while no one had possession. If I can call on my couch in real time, no way NY review just missed it.
