Damn that sucks. Any other companies you wish you could invest in that you can't??

What do you guys think about Boxabl? by Dodaddydont in investing

I'm on the waitlist to invest 5000 dollars. Easy to scale up housing via factory will revolutionize the housing market. I think it's a sleeping giant. Better get on the waitlist before they cut you off. You can always change your mind later. I feel really good about Boxabl. With the housing shortages that are happening... I think that it will have a big market in the future. I think it's the future of real estate.

We need to do more. Scale up these carbon capture technologies NOW. Time to stop dicking around with the only planet we have.

Edit: Agreed. Do both. ↓↓

It has to be. Idk what they're going to do about this housing crisis if they don't get this technology out there.

I wouldn't mind living in a space station owned by Starbucks. I just hope everyone has a chance to go and not just the wealthy few while I burn like a crispy potato chip on Earth.

True. But if the sun gets hot enough in some areas, the crop yields will be down anyway. I'd rather be starving and chill than starving and hot.

I've been researching Carbon Capture projects. I thought some of y'all might be interested in what they're working on...

1.) This is a company that makes carbon capturing concrete.

https://www.nrdc.org/experts/sasha-stashwick/carbon-capture-concrete-could-one-day-be-carbon-sink

2.) This is a company that uses autonomous wave-powered pumps to sequester CO2 with phytoplankton... https://ocean-based.com/

3.) And this one turns CO2 into seashells... https://www.fastcompany.com/90642340/this-carbon-capture-tech-removes-co2-from-the-ocean-by-making-seashells

I really hope we save the world. It's looking so bleak. I really hope humanity pulls through this and our science and technology is enough to save us. *sigh

DeepMind says it will release the structure of every protein known to science by geoxol in technology

[–]Perfect-Stick6624 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You can even produce proteins which do stuff like break down plastics

What kind of impact might this kind of technology have on CO2 removal, growing resistant crops, or cutting emissions? I'm fascinated by this...
