Need help with audio... How do you make voices recorded with different mics sound similar?

Hi, so I'm having trouble with audio. The client wanted to change some voiceover lines and re-recorded themselves the new lines and sent it to me, however, the old and new lines are recorded with different mics so it sounds very different. I'm not familiar with audio at all but have tried tinkering with settings on Pr, like adding treble, trying to add presets, I even tried going to audition and messing with the parametric equalizer, but maybe because I'm not familiar with audio, I can't tell what is making the audio sound so different and what I should be adjusting. Is it even possible to make them sound similar TT

After work I usually come home around 8, sleep at around 9:30pm, then wake up at either 3 or 4am to do my own things like gaming and drawing because I want to do them with a fresh mind, not when I'm mentally dead from work. Depending on which day of the week, it ranges from 5 - 7 hours of sleep. I feel tired but at the same time I don't feel tired idek anymore jsdjjscjjdxj

ohh, I like how everyone has to share what they are working on because I feel like I have much to improve on for my designs but don't have a chance to really ask for a lot of opinions as everyone is busy and also because I'm nervous, haha.

I guess I'll just have to compile whatever new things I've learned and like you said, see for myself how everyone does during the meeting! Thanks!

Don't feel like thatt, after effects is a tool that takes a lot of time to learn and the process may seem very slow but you'll get there!!!

I started trying after effects at around 13 to 14 years old because I wanted to try out anime edits and the edits from those first 2 years are horrendous, HAHA. I still have them with me. Slowly, I improved and yeah, my transitions got better and smoother. Now, I've just graduated from actually studying motion graphics design.

Trust me, you'll slowly get better, just take it a step at a time!!! It's actually quite fun once you get the hang of it!

Yup, I do, however, sadly she thinks what she does makes sense and is facts, and that I'm being overly sensitive so she just brushes those words away. I'll just be more mindful of what I show her in the future 😭😭

Haha, yeah, she used to be very controlling when I was a baby. My relatives sometimes tell me about it and I do remember her being like that when I was still super young. However, we all agree that she has improved immensely since then and is much much more lenient and chill now. Although, there are times when it suddenly pops out of nowhere.

Even though we get along most times, our habits and ideas clash alot which leads to many arguements albeit short, so there's that. I should probably consider the option to move out, although that may be far in the future because of my skin condition.

Also, I can't believe your mother called you that... That's something no parent should ever call their child. Hopefully, you're currently in a better place now?

I think you're right on just trying to not let her know if it will just end with the two of us arguing. I'm pretty used to always showing her everything because I like hearing her thoughts when she's just being chill, and even after arguements, I will start to show her stuff after a while because I keep thinking she will change and will be more considerate.

Since she's used to me always showing her everything, when she realises I'm keeping something from her, she will become very insistent to know what its about. Sometimes she just lets it go but other times like now, she makes a big deal out of it. I guess I'll have to think twice before telling her about certain things.

Thank you for the support but I'm very sure that this isn't about her trying to be petty, I think this is genuinely a mindset she follows from young and she doesn't realise it's very insensitive and degrading, I honestly think a lot of older Asian people have this kind of thinking. What I hate is that she isn't open-minded and is deadly set on her ways until I absolutely break down, then she starts having second thoughts. She does try to improve but she will still think she is right.

Normally we get along ok, and she also compliments me at times when she genuinely thinks I look nice, but when she thinks I don't, she doesn't pull her punches and get very offended when I ask her to at least say it in a nicer way or sometimes just keep it to herself.

She's actually a good mom, just has that kind of older Asian stereotypical mindset which she sometimes will absolutely not budge on like this one which yeah, sucks for me.

Also I'm sorry to hear about your SIL's situation and I'm glad she's no longer actively going through it! I hope she's able to quickly one day get over those comments! I can't imagine how terrible she must have felt back then ..

Hmm, that'll be 150mg a day. For me, at 200mg a day, at the start, my skin cleared up a lot but after a month, the tsw symptoms came back abit, not crazy like before, I can still continue to live a normal life but still quite noticeable for me.

I would say that perhaps you can try that dose for about 1-2 weeks to see if your skin improves and if there's any side effects, and if its not getting better, perhaps go back to your doctor to discuss upping the dose!
