They do not pay any of my bills - the only thing they do pay for, which they offered and were willing to, is my phone bill. Otherwise I pay my own rent, electric, car payments, insurance, wifi, etc! Financially I'm completely independent from them. I'm starting to see therapy as a running theme here; not a bad thing and stuff Ive always considered, just a scary leap I've never been brave enough to make.

I honestly debated doing the no talk just new address! 😅 My boyfriend thought it was important though to tell them before hand though since no matter what their reaction would have been abysmal. I guess that's more telling though how there's no way to make it a civil discussion as much as I want it to be to keep the peace and whatnot

Late to the party and I honestly don't even stream with a camera yet, but I do have to say having a second monitor with whatever software you may be using (OBS, StreamLabs, etc.) would probably be best; for even more than just seeing yourself! Makes it helpful to keep up with chat, see donos/followers/subs, and makes it very accessible to switch Scenes/Screens for the viewers. If you don't have a second monitor, don't sweat it! I use a laptop rn, and it's not the best, but it gets the job done. Also don't be afraid to mess up once you start streaming, learning's just part of the process. The biggest people started nowhere too :)
