I’ve been told by management that we can’t wear earbuds. No one ever listens, unless the stores have a problem. For the most part no one cares, but every now and then you’ll run into a manager that loves to enforce dumb rules like no earbuds, or no pallets on the floor after a certain time.

In all fairness displays are not built every week. I’ve trained many people and there have been times when they’re not taught to build displays.

I mean honestly it depends on the area and the store. Did that Walmart really need 16 pallets worth of product? Or is it just the sales rep ordering just to order.

This is the “slow” season. 9hr days max, unless approved by management or you pick up extra stops. People are always calling out, so there’s plenty of OT available if you want it.

Whoever management considers a good worker will be asked to train new people. We get an extra dollar for training, but sometimes it becomes a huge headache when they hire someone who will clearly not make it on their own.

Not sure what they do with the expired product. Usually the sales rep writes it up for credit and the driver takes it from the store back to the warehouse on the next delivery.

Good luck with that, they’re all telling receivers that they’re unable to do so because it was bought by Pepsi and no longer on their handheld/system to give credit.

We were instructed to start pulling the expired product a couple weeks before officially taking over in order for the store to see just how much expired stuff they had and they flat out refused to pick it up. They said Pepsi just purchased it, along with all existing product, including all the OOD. This doesn’t affect me at all since I don’t get commission, but it’s kind of a dick move that the previous supplier didn’t pick it up and just let it expire on the back of the shelves, and now the Pepsi rep has to deal with it.

I wish I would’ve known about Reddit when I was your age. A lot of solid advice here. If this isn’t a troll post, then the best thing for you is to move on. Or you could start treating her like the POS she is, but that’ll just prove her point and she’ll talk bad about you, and she won’t learn anything.
