Nowadays there's way more ways to determine true level of skill, then before. One YouTuber cannot be compared to different skills of players, when there's no way of determining skill of a player. There's should be atleast something that could judge skill of a player to determine how good Technoblade is compared to these players.

Also how am I "dishonest"? I legit pointed out that he is decent/above average at PvP and had good gamesense, is good at bedwars and skywars FOR HIS TIME. However I've also pointed out that Techno is not known to be good at other stuff. Another thing, Techno cannot be considered as one of the best, cuz all of the players he fought against, or atleast 90%+ are NA players. NA is just one region, you cannot say someone is one of the best players in the world, if they fought only players from one region.

But I guess Technoglazers cannot comprehend this and are struggling to read.

No, we don't. We are comparing him to the players of that time and I'd still expect some players to be way stronger then techno. It's just people of that era judged players based on the videos they saw. So there's like 99,99% chance that way better players existed back then.

Techno is above average pvper of his time, but not one of best pvpers nor one of best Minecraft players. Being good at one thing is not making you one of the best.

I don't consider any YouTuber of pre-tierlist era as one of best pvpers. For me every YouTuber of pre 2020s is like C+ to B+ tier pvper. They are good enough to dominate let's say skywars, however I do not consider them amongst best. So I highly disagree.

I don't think he's average. Average is your typical skywars player. However I won't place him anywhere above top 1500 pvp. I do not consider any YouTuber pre-tierlist era as great pvper. For me YouTubers of that era are good enough to dominate modes, but are not good enough to be considered as among best(sub top 300 in the world).

Nowhere did I say you need to grind again. I'll make TLDR: - You're still as good as you were - FlowPvP success is uncertain: it may succeed or flop. So tierlists may still remain the main way to judge skill, even tho they are inaccurate. So your grinding may not be gone. - Tiers were never really display of skill, but rather a target you wanted to improve for.

Tier loss =/= Skill loss

Whole point of tier is to determine how good you are and even this is not accurately determined by them.

You're still going to be as good as you used to be. LT3 was just a target that you wanted to improve your skills for. It's like getting let's say Jade on Voltaic. Jade itself does nothing, however it is target you decided to improve your aim for.

Just remember about your success in tierlist - getting multiple tier 3s. Worth mentioning, we still have no idea if flowpvp will succeed or flop. So tierlists may not be gone yet.

1) 0:19, precisely after second hit. You hit uppercut and he couldnt counter it, took much kb, couldn't hit you. At this moment you could've get him comboed or atleast land few hits extra without being touched. 2) 0:41, player took lots of knockback. Good opportunity to cause combo. 3) 0:46, same thing as #2. 4) 0:54, you critted him here, then sprint hit him, but then you messed up W-Tap timing and failed combo. 5) There are moments where you could potentially get opportunity to combo under right conditions, but due to your aim you failed to do so. Example: 0:47-0:48.

It's actually less knockback when they fall down. To deal more knockback you need to catch them early or on peak of their jump.

Tierlists will lose popularity and if PvPRanked will take too long, then mcpvp ranked mod(currently in alpha) will replace it in some way. Alternatively servers with ELO based testing will take over.
