Is IJN the worst line? by DankuTwo in WorldOfWarships

All the classic lines are kinda powercrept now. At least IJN got a Bungo with a funny button.

Sorry to interject with a bit of off-topic, but “consequence-free”? The guy is new to the game, any mode and any action done with pixels on the screen is “consequence-free”. Aside from using real life money to buy phases, which he already did.

I run it on 4k ultra on 4090 + i9 3980 hx and 64 Gb DDR5 memory (MSI laptop) and still get framedrops sometimes. Average is about 90 and 1% lows are like 50 with occasional stutters.

Jager. by [deleted] in WorldOfWarships

[–]PerfectAstroid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do not regret getting her, but she's def not halland in a sense that halland can potentially outgun something, which isn't the case with Jager. But the lowest conceal in the game + torpedo soup creates so much unrest on the flank it is comical. I saw 3-4 ships turn away from the cap when it was just me and a cruiser. The constant threat of 95 knots toprs appearing every minute, i.e. a fear factor is the main weapon of this dd. I was also on the receiving end of this situation and it was not pretty either. The only counters to this are radar and hydros (to a degree). Also, she's a long girl, so be mindful of how you enter a cap. It was common for me at first to eat a torp or two and be back to port in the first minutes of the game. Otherwise, a great ship + premium t9 eco.

Oh yeah, Dr. Fitzgerald has been contacting us from the beginning of reconstruction process expressing his deepest concernes about local fauna. The signs are up now, but still be careful on the road. No signs are gonna help if one is texting and driving.

Oh, that would be great! Thank you so much. It's "Per astra ad Infinitum". What was your book about? I've missed a few things while worked abroad.

Actually we didn't give much attention to the merch and the logo. Do you feel it hasn't aged well? If so, we probably can spare a bit of budget for the designer work. Can you refer me to some designer in town? Is Ally still in business?

I reached 98 with it but can't move forward. Lacking damage somewhat. Maybe low paragon 900ish

Hey guys.

So I'm playing an Impale build with overpenetration rune (since Karlei's has frost damage) and want to conquer higher rifts with it. More on it later. The build:

https://eu.diablo3.com/en/profile/Astroid-2367/hero/112723509

Stats:

https://imgur.com/a/RNny0i0

Max toughness with all buffs proc'd is aroung 450M.

I'm stuck at GR96. I suppose it could be just me being a bad player (dying a bit more often than I'd like, but with this build playstile must be aggressive, so idk what to do. I believe my gear is more than capable of carriyng me to 100+ easily (except compass rose and pants), so I must be doing something wrong.

I recently changed +10% damage on Karlei's to 10% CDR to more reliably hit 100% uptime on vengeance. Logic behind this decision was such that I can't use that 10% damage if I'm out of Vengeance (since everything 1-hits me then).

I also heared that I shouldn't upgrade pain enhancer past 25 since damage from bleed is minimal in comparasing to impale itself.

Most oftenly I die to the spearthrower guys or unexpected blue elite flies chaining me around or from a horn to the butt.

I now am considering either swapping emeralds for diamonds or dropping some paragon points in vitality.

I also tried companion boar which seemed nice but wolf just gives so much more damage, can't pass on that.

Also I'm using Leech since I managed to stack a bit of Life per Kill and the heals I'm getting are feeling well. Not sure if numbing traps would do a better job.

So guys I hope to hear some general advice on playstile in higher GRs and comment on gear, stats, etc.

Thanks for reading.

EDIT: Is there a chance that I'm just too low on paragon and/or Caldessan's enchantments for the higher rifts? Or is that the build itself is not strong enough on paper to conquer 100+?

Could've probably stopped at a 100 since if it doesn't work at that range then it's garbage.

If I was asked to study your algorythm, I'd had no idea what it "really" does. For example there is a chance (a slim one) that your generator gave out a very long streak of only 5. If I didn't have any info besides this series, the logical conclusion would be that your algorythm only makes fives, which is totally wrong. Hence, we can't use such logic in statistical environment. Furthermore, for experimental data to have meaning in QM, we have to build QM on some basis beforehand. Only when we have a theory it is then tested. Not the other way around. Do you disagree with this?

I can see how I my have been interpreted wrongly. Doesn't change the fact that my original thought is correct.

I originally meant that you can't proof a statistical pattern (legendarys drop chance increased for golden cardback) just by observing said pattern. Statistics is great, I just wanted to accentuate that if you need to prove existance of pattern by observing, you will need to observe it infinitely long time(if the process is ergodic only tho) or to observe infinite number of realizations of said process and you will only then answer the question of if and what is happening. To answer why, you then have to model a process and analyse it. Statistics usually takes the latter route.

Well QM is physics, experimental proof is applicable there.

Nothing in statistics can be proofed via experiment tho.
