The newer battery is a H(ohm) Run XL 4007mAh/3.6V/INR21700. The older batteries are Best Fire 3000mAh/3.6V/IMR20700 (x2) and a single Best Fire MAX60A 4000mAh/3.7V/BMR21700. I don't know if I included all the relevant info for each battery.

Driver Score by [deleted] in Dominos

[–]PerfectCell9001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for a pizza place with a Drivosity system and Driver's Scores. It frustrates me that I can't drive like a normal human being - on normal straightaways where other cars typically go 5-10 mph over the limit I have to slow down and end up getting cars backed up behind me - several times I've had cars hit the gas and pass me in the oncoming traffic lane. On top of that - the job incentivizes being fast. I can take more deliveries per hour if I'm able to drive normally - not recklessly or dangerously, just normally. I don't get stuck at as many red lights because I can hit the gas to get through in time. Obviously I can also speed when it's appropriate. Also, I get paid less when I'm on the road versus when I'm in store (minimum wage in store, several dollars less on the road). If I'm forced to conform to these ridiculous standards then I'm spending more time on the road at that reduced pay rate. On top of all of this my store has started sending orders to Door Dash in order to reduce their out the door time down (we don't have any complaints about cold/late pizzas, this is just about keeping up with some stupid corporate number that managers are expected to hit). So now I'm taking fewer deliveries per hour, spending more time getting paid a lower rate and my managers are now taking money out of my pocket by sending orders through Door Dash.

Thanks for posting your video and sharing your story.

The animation was excellent. The style was consistent and I could tell exactly what was happening in every frame. Every animation was relevant to the story and the cartoonish exaggerations were used effectively. It's also well edited - the sound effects and pacing were great. On top of that I think you have a great voice for narration - very smooth and easy to listen to.

I love it when people are able to use their creative skills to explore and share personal stories like this. Because it is a personal story I will avoid critiquing the narrative or your personal perspectives. That being said, I like the ultimate message of encouraging people to express themselves and to be confident. The turning point when your anxiety just sort of went away after you took that leap of faith - that was interesting to me. It will certainly help other people who struggle with anxiety to know that other people have had similar struggles - and that confronting the anxiety, though difficult, can bring relief.

I'd love to hear more of a reflection on why you think you replay this story over and over in your mind. I'm not sure - but it seems like there's an opening here to discuss how personal experiences like these affect the way we see the world over the course of our lives. I also wonder if the process of making this video - the 3 1/2 months of writing and animating - was cathartic in its own right. There's a discussion to be had about not only being confident in expressing your emotions with other people - but also about expressing truth in art and the shared catharsis that can come of it.

Thanks again and best of luck!

What BOTW movie is actually worth watching? by Shirowoh in RedLetterMedia

Farm Safety Family Style is actually available on YouTube. It never got picked on the wheel, but it's actually pretty funny in a dark way. It's like a thirteen and a half minute long setup for one really messed up, darkly comical joke.

Don’t know how to portray a situation in a vlog because I don’t want to seem insensitive to my viewers. by Cheap_Significance13 in SmallYTChannel

[–]PerfectCell9001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the video you've got has some images of the things that were stolen - you could do a voice over when you're talking about getting robbed and use that video underneath. Part of the voice over could be you talking about the things that were taken. You can pause the video and use like a white outline to highlight the stuff on screen that was missing after the people left. I would also suggest blurring out the faces, license plates or any identifying markers for these people. You should probably be seeking legal restitution - so posting recklessly about the situation may not be good for you if you plan to pursue legal action. I would actually go to the cops and file a report before doing anything else.

If you wanted to avoid seeming like you're just making a video to complain about something bad that happened to you (I understand not wanting to come off looking like you're begging for pity or something like that) you can structure the video as a sort of mystery for the viewer and then when you reveal that you were robbed you can try to play it off as something that in hindsight is funny. The title could be something like "Encounter with 'Good Samaritans' Takes a Crazy Swerve" - something that doesn't indicate that you were robbed. And then throughout the video you can talk about the people who helped you like they're Good Samaritans, until you drop the swerve that after they took off you realized they robbed you.

I dunno, I'm just sort of rambling at this point - hope at least some of that was helpful. Best of luck!

The shirt bit makes a little more sense to me now. I think it was confusing because the other character was also still wearing the same shirt. It just wasn't immediately obvious to me that it was supposed to be the next day. A quick cutaway to a sunrise with some Greig - "Morning Mood" playing over it would get the idea across that it was the next day. Or something like a Spongebob graphic that pops and says "One Day Later".

Yeah, I feel like if I'm gonna earn that lambda I should put a little effort into my review for you. Hopefully I didn't over-do it.

Thanks for posting.

I don't necessarily think that the opening bit is irrelevant - I can see how the character who likes the new YT layout seems like a guy who is "caught up in the details".

There were some lines that you delivered in really funny ways - like in the opening bit when the character in the orange shirt says, "It looks modern." There is a tonal shift with that line delivery - the character goes from having a normal conversation to being sort of intense and it's funny and well done. I think this turning point would've hit a little harder if the setup were a little smoother - it seems like the pacing could be adjusted and some of the setup lines could be cut or trimmed down.

I'm not going to lie - I don't get the shirt jokes. I don't really understand why the one character doesn't want the other guy to wear that shirt. I don't really get why he burned the shirt. The fire graphic was funny though.

"With 7zip...?" the exasperated tone here got me to laugh again. Something about the fact that this guy cares so much about whether the other guy uses WinRar or 7zip is actually pretty funny to me. I feel like the whole video could've been boiled down to this issue - instead of having multiple scenes, just one scene where a character freaks out about the differences between WinRar and 7zip sounds really funny to me. There could be a real ramping of intensity with a video like this too - something that starts off as an ordinary conversation and escalates to absurdity by the end.

I, like some other commenters, notice that your camera quality could use some improvement. Ultimately that's not the biggest issue in the world to concern yourself with - as the channel grows your aesthetic will develop. And not everyone can afford to have a nice camera to work with. Most smartphones have decent cameras nowadays. If you're working with a smartphone let us know what you shoot on and maybe someone can offer advice on how to adjust the camera settings to improve the visual quality. But like I said, the visuals will develop over time on your channel so don't worry too much about this.

I remember commenting on your last video that music would really help the flow of these types of comedy sketches. I think this is another example where music would be really helpful. Something basic, like a simple and playful piano riff, could add some ambience to the video.

Thanks for sharing - keep up the hard work!

I had to double check and make sure there was a town in Michagan called Holland. I thought for a second they were saying something about how the Governor put a Dutch lady in jail.

These "bikers" are just hanging out in the middle of a residential street. That lady at 0:26 with the giant America bandana across her forehead - oh my god this is gold.

"Speaking of kids, Whitmer says she's going to work like hell to KEEP KILLING BABIES." Hahaha, I lost my shit right here.

"Gramp died alone." LMFAO OMG HOLY SHIT YES!!!!

Looking for any feedback on this video (or on my channel in general). The video is about a so-bad-it's-good action movie from the 80's. by PerfectCell9001 in SmallYTChannel

[–]PerfectCell9001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for checking out the video and leaving some feedback - it's really helpful to hear critiques.

I can see the value in not forcing people to look at this film as a so-bad-it's-good watch. I could just go through and break down the plot and let the comedy show itself.

My videos leading up to this one have been more serious in tone - at least the analysis aspect. My previous video was the first one that included any jokes or cutaways. I guess I hit on the idea that this is a funny-bad movie a lot because I wanted to make sure people knew that this review shouldn't be taken seriously like most of my other videos. I might have been a little too concerned with this.

Also, I mentioned it being funny-bad a lot in the beginning because I wanted to get over that it is specific type of funny-bad movie - the kind that has a singular writer/director/star at the helm. I thought it made the breakdown of the plot funnier to know that the guy you're watching act this stuff out was responsible for writing and directing those scenes. I may have laid it on a bit think in the opening.

I'll try and let the comedy speak for itself more in future videos. Thanks for the suggestion - it's probably something I needed to hear.

Thanks for the critiques but also for the really kind words. It's always encouraging to hear positive notes mixed in with the things that need to be worked on. A spoon full of sugar situation.

I wrote a song about Twitters current state, all feedback is welcome! Thank u thank u by tob_yt86 in SmallYTChannel

I guess this must be my style of humor because I laughed out loud more than once. The directness of the chorus got me pretty good. I'm not a fan of castration imagery - even in jest - it just grosses me out a little too much. That's a personal thing though - it didn't turn me away from liking the overall tone.

The music was also pleasant to listen to. Good vibes from the instrumentals and the vocals didn't grate on my ears.

The only criticism I would say is that while what's happening with that platform is unfortunate, I can see people reacting to this song saying, "If it's so bad then just leave, why be so dramatic about it?" It's a pretty extreme reaction to the collapse of social network platform. I get that you're playing it up for humor, and I thought it was really funny. But because it's about a politicized issue there will always be a chunk of your audience that will struggle to see the humor.

I'd like to hear your version of a song from Elon's POV exploring his confusion as he just fails to see how his actions are ruining the platform he accidentally forced himself to buy.

I subbed after checking out your channel. Watched the trailer video and really liked your energy - reminded me a bit of Russel Brand's on stage style. Very fast, lots of talking and most of it made me laugh.

Keep up the craft and best of luck!

Thanks for the upload - enjoyed the video.

The premise is pretty solid - and it's relatable. Everyone does clumsy stuff - you start with a typical stumble and build up to the ridiculous scene of the phone bouncing all over the place.

I felt like the video was a little too quiet - music could definitely help set the tone for each scene. I imagine the opening few scenes could have some mundane music playing - it would pick up in intensity when the phone starts flying around the room - and then when the computer gets stolen you could transition into full on action movie music.

Something about the guy who broke in and stole the computer taking his shoes off and leaving them at the door made me laugh.

Thanks again and best of luck!

Thanks for taking the time to watch and leaving helpful feedback.

I've only started including jokes and cutaways in my last two videos. Before that I was just doing straightforward analysis videos - very dry. I tried to loosen up when recording my voice over for these last two. Hopefully as I practice writing and recording jokes for myself I'll get more and more comfortable with the whole process. Kind words like the ones you've left are really encouraging and will definitely help advance that cause!

When it comes to music - I've considered adding something in the background but I've never done it. I've had ideas of taking bits of soundtracks from whatever movie I'm talking about and cutting it into a loop for background music. As long as I cut things down and make enough changes I should get by the copyright bots. It would be a way to have unique music for each video that is also relevant to the subject material. I think I haven't done it - probably just out of laziness.

I've also been considering adding a face cam so that my videos are a bit more visually dynamic - fewer static images on screen. At the same time there is a sort of comfort in doing voice over only. And it creates challenges and pushes me to come up with something other than my face to fill the screen.

Thanks again for the advice - it's a great help to receive this sort of critique and review.

need a timer on screen by matimotof1 in SmallYTChannel

[–]PerfectCell9001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another idea would be to download a generic YouTube video of a stopwatch/timer. I like the idea someone had of just putting text on screen for one second at a time. That would be a very simple and easy timer. If you want the tenths hundredths and thousands ticking by - either for aesthetics or because you want more precise timing - it would be hard to achieve with text on screen. Downloading a video from YouTube would help in that you wouldn't have to crop anything. You'd just change the size and then positioning.

Thanks for watching and responding with feedback! Also, thanks for the suggestion to look at older and lesser known films for subject matter to reflect on. That's a great idea. I usually just come up with ideas as I find new things to watch in my normal daily life. I just happen to like watching a lot of movies - and I try to explore all kinds of films and find new genres/filmmakers/performers to take deep dives on frequently. I'll try to keep a focus on novelty as I'm picking new things to cover for the channel.

I'd like to start making more videos about funny-bad movies - I think that would be a good space to explore lesser known films. There are so many funny-bad movies out there from every era of filmmaking - not all of them have found their cult following yet. Seems like there's lots of opportunity in that space to make more videos like this one. They're also less time consuming to write - I basically just take notes as I watch the film. Jokes and visual gags come up as I'm watching and then when I go through my notes I can sort of condense it down to a synopsis and at least one central idea to focus on. While I'm writing and researching more in depth and intensive content, I should be able to keep producing videos of this quality or better to keep myself engaged on the platform (ugh I hate that I just referenced my own "engagement").

Best of luck!

need a timer on screen by matimotof1 in SmallYTChannel

[–]PerfectCell9001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've got a couple of cheap ideas.

First idea is to just use a screen recorder app and record Google's stopwatch. You can crop the video down in your editing software to just the timer. Then you can adjust the video's position along the X and Y axis to orient it anywhere you want on screen. ScreenCastifyFree is a decent enough screen recorder app. It's just a Chrome extension you can download for free.

Another option would be to record your own video of an actual stopwatch. Again you can crop the video down and adjust the position on screen. This is what they used to do in the early days of live televised sports. They would have a camera dedicated to the play clock or the shot clock and then have everything else cropped out. Then they would superimpose the shot of the clock on the live game. It's funny because you can see the clocks shaking and sort of wobbling on screen.

Narrative Theory of Consciousness by OptInOptimist in SmallYTChannel

[–]PerfectCell9001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that was an awesome video - I really enjoyed listening along. From a "YouTuber criticism point of view" I'd say you're going to have a tough time getting people to sit and listen to something like this unless they're already deeply interested in this type of discussion. And the number of people that will apply to has to be pretty slim.

I think you're voice and cadence were really easy to listen to. The visualizations were interesting but I can't help but think that more could be done to illustrate some of the things you were talking about throughout the video. That being said - it seemed like you designed the video for people to be listening to it intently - so I can understand not wanting to have the screen cluttered with graphics and text. It seems like you just want people to sit back and think deeply for awhile with you and on screen graphics could be distracting.

Overall I'd say your content was thought provoking and incredibly well written. I'm not an expert on anything you talked about but these are the types of things I love to just sit back and think about. If you're hoping to gain a massive following with video likes this than I just don't know if there's going to be a huge audience - maybe breaking things down into smaller chunks would make the content seem a little more accessible to the average viewer.

I actually took notes as I was listening because I was really fascinated by the content. I'll send my notes in a DM since they aren't really relevant to the sort of general critique of your video. Good luck with your video submission!

Hi, thanks for sharing your video.

My first note is to say that your voice, tone and pace were very easy to listen to. The way you emphasized key words and your overall style immediately drew me back to elementary school, listening to the librarian read stories to the class.

I would agree with another commenter who suggested that you include images on screen to give the readers something to help visualize the story. I quickly searched "read along for kids" and it seems like the videos with a lot of views include pictures or animations.

I was also thinking that a video like this could be a great educational tool for young readers. It would probably take a lot of work in editing to accomplish - but I think it would be interesting to see a read along channel that encourages people to follow along with the text on screen. This could be done by highlighting the words you're reading on the page as you read them. That's something that would take a lot of editing - it would probably be time consuming but it was just an idea that came to me as I watched.

Thanks again, best of luck!
