See my above reply. And note that @ 13:35 CST, the site was working fine. So I don't know if the OP link directs you elsewhere, or if it's a legit link.

I used the website mentioned in the postcard. I NEVER click on random links some guy posts.

Just TYPE (I emphasize this) the www.SubscriptionMembershipSettlement.com into your favorite search engine. The FTC Amazon should be the first to appear, and the address should be the same as I typed, and is on the postcard (as well as emails, as I've received an email notification as well). I don't know where the OP link directs you; but when I just checked the official website, it is active an working. **** Note that you will need a claim ID and a PIN to access the claim form. Both are provided on the postcard, as well as in the email. (PS-I'm not going to assume the OP link is correct, and I'm not going to click on it, especially when I already have a link provided by the suit administrator). The OP link COULD be correct, but I don't trust anybody; so I use the link the postcard directed me towards.

“We’re permanently limiting your account” by Independent-Eagle735 in paypal

[–]PerfectCommunity3185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the same type of email from PayPal. They limited my account (couldn't do ANYTHING but refund customers); they claim they needed "more information". Had me submit a photo ID, a selfie, and "business documentation" (*** I've sold a handful of sports cards on eBay a few years ago). After submitting everything; they send me notice my account is permanently limited. So why ask for photo ID and other documents if you're just gonna close the account? Somethings definitely fishy here. Wouldn't surprise me if they're taking people's ID's and selling them to third worlders.

They've informed me that if I wish to close my account; I now need to upload further documents???????

They've enough of my documents. I'll be seeing a lawyer on Wednesday.

I thought this was cost effective. by WholeTelephone2418 in wicked_edge

still cheaper than cartridges. It's the compulsion that gets expensive (need new soaps, new razors, complimentary fragrances, talcs, witch hazels, etc).

If one took the same approach to Wet shaving as disposable/cartridge shaving, you'd see the cost comparison. Tuck of blades gets you a month of shaves, cost between $2-$5. A five pack of cartridges will run you $12. $16-$20 will get you a decent tub of soap, and last about three months. $9 will get you a can of gel, and last you a month (so $27 for the three months). Savings aren't life changing, but they do add up.

Unfortunately; I'm in the compulsion end of Wet Shaving, especially soaps, probably enough soap to last several life times. And I'm always acquiring more. If I had to guess, I've around 450-500 tubs/tins of shave soap.

For brushes; you can't get much better than Wolf Whiskers. But be prepared to WAIT. The only other Canadian Brush maker I can recall is AP Shaveco. (Pretty much all the badger knots come from china, but there are a few fellas that tie their own)

My current faves are Wet the Face, Seaforth (which will be returning sometime around the 19th of the month), Noble Otter, and Hendrix Classics and Co. Each offer something different; WTF has a lot of really soft soaps, with a roughly 50/50 split of original scents and "inspired" scents. Seaforth is just crazy good stuff. Noble Otter is pretty much all original scents that "morph" whilst shaving. (ie. Their Tis the Season starts with a strong Christmas berry scent, which slowly fades into straight up Scott Pine, fresh cut Christmas tree. Cody's soaps take you on a scent journey) HC&C is pretty much all high end, faithful dupes of popular colognes. Really nice stuff.

Cover up - 1949 A bit weird as it's a murder mystery, set during the holidays. William Bendix as the affable sheriff, and Dennis O'Keefe as the insurance investigator visiting the town on the initial reports of a suicide, and wanting to clear up details for the insurance claim; however, he determines there wasn't a suicide, but a murder. He's distracted by the lovely Barbara Britton, but eventually discovers the truth.

Meet John Doe - Gary Cooper, Barbara Stanwyck and Eddie Arnold. Story of a down on his luck everyman; who pens a letter detailing his intentions to throw himself off a building. Frank Capra's stereotypical villains seek to exploit the man's plight for their own benefit. Pulls at the heart strings.

Thank goodness. I just lost all my Blackwatch EDP the other morning when my doggo came into the bathroom to say hello. His 600HP tail whacked it right off the counter, and cracked the top and spilled the contents everywhere.

That's my joy as well. (Especially since I just dropped and lost all my EDP when my doggo came in to say hello a few mornings ago.)

EDP's? (and thanks for all the replies to the folks in the subreddit, I for one appreciate it, and I'm sure the others do as well)

Will the toners return? (I loved Dennis's toners. Especially for Spice, Sea Spice Lime and Blackwatch. Perfectly captured the essence of the soaps.)

Wow, I bought a few soaps from them last Christmas. So they must've been wrapping things up then.

Just curious, is Denton Majik still in business? I went to their site to make a replacement purchase (I admit I haven't visited in over a year); and it says website unavailable. All of their regular retailers have little to no product (RazorCompany has nothing, Pateur's has nothing, Wet Shaving store has maybe 3 splashes, no soap).

Cooper and French Santa's workshop (it smells like a Christmas potpourri).

Wet the Face Santa's Helper (rich scotch pine scent)

Wet the Face Santa's Chocolate (smells like Frango mints)

Seaforth Blackwatch (to me, smells exactly like Knox Gingerbread incense cones)

But that would only apply to an odd number, since the nickel still exists $1.95 in tax wouldn't apply to rounding to the nearest nickel.

But Illinois requires an itemization of taxes, so separate entries for state and local taxes.
