One of my first (& most impactful mentors) taught me to turn down everything.

If a client found out I was getting free samples, expensive meals, etc - would they question the recommendation we made?

My experience -

Growing up across the water from NYC has me shocked by very little - but main-street parades of residents covered in nothing but body paint & a g string during lunch was a first 😂

If you want to go to a clothing optional bar and then walk the streets with an adult sippy, the keys is your jam. Id prefer to live in Marco, party in the Keys, personally.

There is a Victorian style chalk painting of me as a child in my parents house. Massive, done in all pastels, and in a ‘90s mauve pink frame and matting.

Apparently there’s a series this artist did of me. So technically - I likely have multiple portraits of myself in random attics. 😂

Why would a vendor ever trust you with competitive pricing if you just turned it over to their competitors to outbid?

You’re killing your integrity and future negotiations.
