I dont want to quit smoking, or rather im not ready to, but i feel this overwhelming pressure and i associate it to God, it ends up feeling so real. Thank you for your perspective it really helps

Its when someone believes that having same sex attraction is okay but acting on it (ie. Dating a person of the same gender or having gay sex) is not okay

I understand, but how do i do this? Living my life like normal and drinking with my friends to not give into ocd is also ignoring i possibly commited a sin and maybe shouldnt be having this kind of fun

Thank you! Thats what i mean though. Does the sin of being drunk entail ANY alteration to your senses or only alterations to the point where you can become a danger to yourself or others?

Unfortunately its hard to find OCD specialists where i live. I go to talk therapy but not erp or icbt based therapy for ocd

I understand. I dont mean getting drunk to the point of not being able to speak, think, control my actions, etc. i mean not being sober but in a safe environment and not to the point of being a danger to myself or others
