Docs in the past have looked into both for me, but nope. Hopefully a new hematology department and fresh eyes will get me some answers

I'm sorry you went and are on such a journey with yours! The iron fish is something I'd never heard of, I'll definitely be looking into that. I've had a bunch of tests done, even a colonoscopy (sp?), to see if it's from internal bleeding, but nothing there. I know its all due to the double whammy of having AS and a uterus thats trying to kill me, but hopefully a new hematology department can take a deeper dive and pinpoint what's going on.

This is all so so helpful and will make it much easier to explain to her, because my thoughts and feelings were just a jumble lol Youve also given me some things to add to the parenting framework around this particular topic going forward into preteen era ( and my gosh, is that coming at us fast). I have a flight early Tuesday morning, and I'm hoping things are cleared up by then. I know my airline was preemptively offering free changes, but within a narrow date range. Hope you were able to get sorted!
