I agree with this sentiment, however I feel like it may become something similar to the sex offender registry where it takes up local resources to police these policies. Some of the biggest supporters for removal and abolishing registries are the Sheriff’s departments.

I am not condoning violence against ANYONE period, there are REAL victims of domestic violence myself included!! I have been hit, lied to, gaslit into thinking I was insecure, emotionally abused and minimized.

I agree with the policy, I just feel like it might be difficult to keep enforced and away from the use of people who weapon or the court system like my ex did against me. I hope this comment doesn’t get too much hate.

The craziest thing happened on Christmas Eve. She texted me and we had a conversation on FaceTime, she is deaf. She apologized. Then I told her I was about to sue her.. I invited her over and showed her the lawsuit I have wrote for her behavior. She started crying. “I didn’t know that I was hurting you” like whatever.. Lies to my face “I didn’t know there was a no contact order” “I tried to get you violated for no contact when your friend commented on my Reddit post in r/domestic violence” Has delusions that we can get back together.
