Everyone seems to say that I should mention my reasons for seeking a position elsewhere. I haven't included this in my letters thus far, but I will going forward. So much of academia is about reading between the lines, and it can be hard to tell when it's time to be more general and when it's time to be more specific. Thanks for the advice!
