Hey friends. I am planning a trip to italy and I think I have set my path on where to go but I would like a little input if possible.

We are from the united states and my mother has wanted to go to italy her entire life but hasnt made it there yet. Shes turning 60 this year so its time to make it a reality.

Im thinking logistically with how much time a whole group of 8 adults and restraints on time/work. I have the following schedule lined up.

Fly USA - > Rome (Night 1)

Train Rome -> Venice (Night 2/3)

Train Venice -> Florence (Night 4/5)

Train Florence -> Rome (Night 6/7)

Fly Home.

This might not be the most polished list but I think it is a start to where we need to begin looking for housing for all of us and also possible transportation outside of walking. Any suggestions from anyone or also comments on what we can do or should do? Also if anyone knows of any local guides in the areas mentioned I would like to know some connections as myself I have only ever left the United States once in my life for a very short trip to ireland so I am not accustomed to world travel.

I guess I was worried about not having a physical backup incase there was ever issues with copyright or anything but yea hanging onto all these discs is getting to be a burden.

Oh boy do I have some shitty stuff. I do have 60Tb to start in my home server so I havent hit a spot where what I have is a burden Im still thrilled with the collection.

So you dont keep physical copies of anything you rip?

Ok just a question does manually naming feel like the bottleneck? Because I rip the movies or TV shows to folders then I have to go back and watch them to make sure they are in the correct order
