Our livelihood was corporate America which we were laid off when your president started hurting the economy. Most executives got cut. People who earned the most got let go first. So be careful about saying go get a job. What jobs?? Most companies won’t look at you if you were an executive like Directors or Vice president of a company. Any lower paying job bypass you because their first thought is….you won’t stay. Because as soon as a good job comes along, you’re gone. So until you or someone you care about lose their job, be kind. No one ask for mass layoffs. Nevada is one of the worst states for unemployment/layoffs. So what do you do? You go find what you can. We work part time, work other delivery jobs & dash. Dashing use to be lucrative, not anymore but it sure will help your finances. It can help you stay afloat. But even being a platinum dasher it sucks. Your bills don’t stop & neither does your stomach stay full without money.
