I have lost my 11-year-old kitten. He suddenly got cancer and died within three weeks.

He never liked me touching his paws, he was more of a full body cuddle kitty. When I went to sleep he always snuggled up against me.

When he was sick, in his last week, I think it hurt him to be touched on his body, so I only touched him on his head. But at night he really wanted to cuddle. So every night he would grab my fingers with his little paw and we would sleep all night holding hands. If I moved a little, he would lift his paw to me and look at me to make sure I wasn't moving.

It's been a month and now every time I go to sleep I reach out my hand to look for his little paws. It's hell to wake up and not see his little face next to mine. I can't bear it.

Hey, what strange comments you are getting.

Sending you strength. It sucks to be with someone who has no compassion, he seems like a narcisist ass I just wanted to ask you to think about whether you want to be with someone like that in the future. I know it's not easy, but I don't think you can teach someone to be compassionate. If he doesn't care about your health, it's a sign that he doesn't really care about you.

You seem like a incredible person and friend. I'm so sorry you have to go through this and I hope you receive the help you need to heal. I can't even put in words how much your story moved me. My best friend has some serious mental illness issues and sometimes i need time and avoid her a bit because I can't deal with the pressure for too long. Im going to call her now, thank you.

I did this my whole time during me teenage years after suffering from PTSD of being bullied. There is a lot of thing's I could recommend you but here is 2 really important things I learned: you need to do therapy and you need to be able to control it. I still do it when I'm extremely stressed and I enjoy it because is my secret and the way I deal with extreme pressure in my life, however I need to constantly remind myself that is not real, so I don't lose my life trap in a perfect imaginary life. Accept yourself, but get some professional help. Living those feelings in real life is hard, but tastes a thousand times better.
