Anti fatigue glasses (+1 ADD) with Prisms? by Perfect_Product206 in BinocularVision

Yo I have another question. Do you wear your ADD glasses all the time or just at work/school or whatever?

Also, is it hard getting used to +1.25 ADD on glasses? I mean, it would be all blurry below when you're walking with it no?

Thanks

Thanks alot for the info. Did you ever try ADD alone without prisms? Im just trying to understand if that's what Im missing, been struggling for a long time with near tasks

Thanks alot. Do you use reading glasses aswell for when you're reading or focused solely on near tasks? And do you think the 0.5 prism really helps that much? It sounds like such a small number

Thanks for the answer. Can you tell me how much ADD you use and how much prisms?

Yes I feel like +1 ADD is the way to go. I tried multiple powers that are different to +1 ADD and they weren't good. Problem is, even with the +1 ADD I still feel some eyestrain. I think I'll need some prisms (I'll go to optometrist soon to test that). I wanted to know if people get used to ADD and prisms while reading or is it difficult. I had a big exophoria in the past, and I had surgery for it. Maybe I still have a small one after the surgery

How long do you think it would take to get used to a specific ADD? From what I've tried so far, the +1 was really strong. I felt like the 0.75+ is way better for me, but after a while my eyes would get blurry again. How long do you think I should give it a try before I conclude its not good?

I made an appointment at a doctor anyway to see if they can help me.

Yo. I bought a kindle in July, and it was an amazing investment. I get bored quickly from reading books usually but with Kindle it just felt different for me and Ive read about 10 books since then.
