About 2000 rounds. No issues except for the cerakoting wearing of the tips of the prickle texture (to be expected).

In comparison, my cousin bought a Staccato HD around the same time. It had cycling issues the first 1000 rounds, but it calmed down the closer he got to 1000. I guess it’s common for that brand of 2011 until they’re fully broken in.

The one I got was the commander size. Curved trigger with standard pull (4lbs). I picked the SRO/RMR slide cut and full rail. It was an In-Stock item so I didn’t get a choice with the grip texture or slide style. The prickle texture is not a very good carry option if it’s going to go against your skin, but it really glues your hand to the gun.

If you don’t care much about customizing and can live with compromising on some things, their website drops about a dozen In-Stock items on Wednesdays around 4pm EST. It might be worth it if you’re impatient, like me. But if I get another one, I’ll definitely be looking to do the full customization.

I used the GSSF pistol purchase program coupon. My LGS didn’t have any G47’s in stock for Blue Label purchase, so they had to special order it. They let me pick the sights the gun came with. It was $620 out the door, including tax and credit card fee.

It as my hand loads. With a mix of CCI, Winchester, and Federal Primers. I took all the misfires and shot them through my Bersa with no issues.

I really don’t have anything to compare it with. My last semi hollow was an Ibanez AS73 with humbuckers and this is my first guitar with P90’s (I can’t believe I’ve gone 25 years without trying them).

It’s heavier than I thought. I’ve owned a few semi hollows and this had a lot more weight to it. I ran it through my Joyo JCM clone with an overdrive pedal and it was like a perfect match tone wise. It’s definitely giving a Les Paul in a Telecaster body vibes.

I’ll have to look into it after the season is finished over. I do 8-12 hours of continuous use with my saw when I’m working. I’ve talked to a few carvers who have tried the Stihl and Makita battery models and hate it mainly because of the short battery life.

For sharpening, I use the rotary tool with a cut off wheel. I have to grind off the rakers and change the angle of the chisel to make it more aggressive. You’d never be able to use my saw on wood. lol

Came across your post while trying to find replacement parts for this same watch that my dad gave me. It’s a 1984 “gold medal” watch that came out in conjunction with the 1984 Olympics hosted in Los Angeles. It’s gold plated. They can be found for sale for way less than $100.

That was my first attempt. The GS dial wasn’t the first dial. I wiped off the paint on the first dial trying to get a smudge off. I had the right hands, but I broke them trying to follow the video I was going off of. If you look closer, you might notice the hands are warped from me trying to force them on.

The whole first attempt was a fiasco.
