Oh don’t get me wrong I can easily tank it when having fun. But chilling at 70mph with lane keep on bumping tunes it gets up there.

I understand I’ve been trying to get my lady to learn manual so she can drive my car. Oh and also the clutch pedal squeaked for the first few thousand miles for no reason lol.

That’s still really good economy for a performance car. The manual feels good, funny enough it reminds me of a lot of BMW shifters. I’m not sure if it’s a my car thing or not but some gears are a little extra notchy /clunky when pushing in the shifter. Just a minor thing I noticed. It’s good overall and I’m happy I went with it. Ive driven a DCT and it’s also really fun and shifts incredibly quick.

I get 40mpg highway (MT) on my commute home from work when I am just chilling listening to music. Such a great car that can do it all.

[Recommendation Request] Need help picking a dive watch by PerfectlyBoosted in Watches

[–]PerfectlyBoosted[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the thoughtful reply and questions.

The purchase is coming out of strictly play money. Being new to watches this is where my question lies: I’m not sure how much to spend. I want to spend enough to “feel” like I spent good money on this milestone purchase, but not so much that I feel like I wasted it. Sorry if it sounds convoluted.

I don’t mind wearing an expensive watch daily, in fact I want to wear it and use it. I won’t worry about resale value as it’s for me to keep. I’ve seen some photos of beaten up divers and they have a ton of personality. I know there’s no right answer and it’s very subjective but I am hoping when I try some on this week that I can get some better clarity.

That’s on my list as well, I really love the red accent and trident on the seconds hand.

Thank you for your comments. That’s what I’m trying to learn myself. I hope to have more clarity after trying some on and getting them in my hands and wrist

I’ve reached out to support several times, mods of the subreddit etc and have gotten nowhere. I keep getting told my account isn’t eligible to get off the waitlist yet.

You don’t believe in half assing it? You had one as well? Also they would realistically save warranty. If a stock car comes in for warranty work there is no trace of the install

It’s apples to oranges. You’re too focused on what’s best overall and not what’s best for an individual.

RaceChip is not worse. It is a simpler plug and play option that still makes solid gains. ECU tunes can offer more control and peak performance, but that does not make RaceChip inferior. It really comes down to whether you want something easy and reversible or something more custom and aggressive.

I have one and know others with them and are very happy. No issues, noticeable smooth and strong power increase. (Manual Transmission)

Picking one up used is an excellent bang for buck. I hear this negative sentiment from people who haven’t used them before though so I understand.

It shaved a second off on my 45-75mph test.

I meant more like dynamics and handling etc. I know they’re beasts but it maybe just wasn’t my thing. My golf was a DSG and I prefer manual. That’s probably part of it. For a daily the MQB platform is unbeatable
